Netflix Tips – Get The Most Out Of Your Subscription

Netflix, Inc. (NASDAQ:NFLX) became a giant in a short amount of time. The service went from delivering DVDs to your home to offering a library with thousands of movies and series. The streaming service, which can easily be accessed through smartphones, tablets, game consoles, and digital media players hooked up to your TV, has been expanding rapidly to other places around the world and is considered one of the best out there, if not the best. The service is available in all of these devices but its the PC version that gets the most use. One of the reasons is because the search and quality is much better in the browser than the apps. So if you’re one of the millions who still go on Netflix for PC and want to learn about the hidden features and settings while using the popular streaming service, check out these tips and tricks.

Try Out The New Features

Like the many services out there, Netflix is always looking to improve and makes small and sometimes big changes to its page. Most of the users don’t get to see the new features right away and usually have to wait months or even over a year. But if you are one of those who love the streaming service and can’t wait to see the new features coming in the next few months, Netflix allows you to become a beta tester for the features they are planning to roll out in the future. Interested? Here is how you do it:

– When logged into your account through the browser, head over to the User Name profile menu (right hand corner) and click Your Account.

– Look for Settings and click Test Participation.

– On the new screen, turn on the Include me in tests and previews option. That’s all, now you’ll get to see the upcoming features before they’re released to the public.

Change The Color and Font of Subtitles

Delete Your Viewing History

Watching a cartoon or a series you know your friends are going to laugh at when they see it? Well you can hide or delete it to prevent this from happening.

– When logged into your account through the browser, head over to the User Name profile menu (right hand corner) and click Your Account.

– Click My Profile and then Viewing Activity.

– On the screen you’ll see everything you’ve watched, click the red X next to each video to delete it from your history. It will then tell you to wait 24 hours for this to happen.
