FIFA 16 has been out for more than a month now but the game still has a few things that need to be fixed. Last week, PC owners were lucky to receive patch No. 3 but PlayStation 4 and Xbox One were left out. Now, PS4 users can download the update but Xbox One will have to wait more as it has not been revealed when they will receive it.
The latest patch does not bring huge changes but it addresses a few issues and even adds a little bit of content that was not included during the release. The patch, available now for PS4 and PC, does not have a release date for the Xbox One.
The new content delivers star heads/realistic faces for some players, mainly from the teams that were promoted to the Premier League this year. Three clubs will also get a third kit (Barcelona, Roma and Inter Milan).
On the online side, improvements have been made to matchmaking, the reset of Pro Clubs accomplishments will no longer happen and an issue on the PS4, which caused screen size not to save correctly, has been solved. On Ultimate Team, the default value assigned to the Buy Now option to the max value when listing an item for sale on the Transfer Market has been updated. Kits, selected ball, and goalkeeper issues were also fixed in this mode.
A few other things were fixed, such as an exploit for win/loss record in FIFA Online Seasons and teams celebrating a goal at the wrong moment.
World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:WWE) 2K16 has also received a brand new update. This one is now available for PS4 and Xbox One.
The massive update comes with fixes for general gameplay, visual, online, MyCareer and a few other modes. Patch 1.02 also adds support for the upcoming moves pack. The studio behind the game has also announced that the players who have not purchased the DLC will still be able to play against those who have.
Fixes to the announcers have been made and now they will announce custom superstars when holding a title, this also includes custom championships.
Here are some of the biggest improvements:
– Lighting issues have been fixed with a number of characters when wrestling in custom arenas or using a custom entrance.
– Camera issues fixed during introduction and before title matches.
– The delay before the match has been reduced after the loading bar appears full.
– The audio for some moves has been improved, some did not happen or happened twice.
– Cutscenes finishing earlier have been fixed.
The downloadable content, which is part of the season pass, will be released by March 31, 2016. Playable characters and matches and move packs will be included in this one.
FIFA 16 and WWE 2K16 are available in stores now.
