When it comes to music, names can explode and die out within just a couple of years. Chancelor Johnathan Bennett was born in April of 1993 in Chicago, Illinois. He grew up in a middle class neighborhood, with his father being a former mayor. He initially preferred listening to soul and jazz, but he ended up forming an amateur hip-hop duo during his freshman year of high school.
