The LG G6 is one of many phones that could be making its debut at this month’s MWC. The upcoming flagship has been mentioned in a number of rumors in the past but there are now more interesting details about the phone. MWC is just ten days away but a lot of details were revealed earlier today, giving us an idea on all the cool features this phone will debut with soon.
The most interesting details seem to be about the 5.7-inch display that is close to being edgeless. The company is calling this almost edgeless display FullVision. The LG G6 will come with a 18:9 aspect ratio which is different from the usual 16:9 aspect ratio. The company has reportedly created a new version of its Android user interface to take advantage of the 18:9 aspect ratio display that will be featured on its upcoming smartphone. Recent rumors have mentioned that company is not planning to feature a curved display on the LG G6. The specs revealed today come from a press release from Seoul.
The LG G6 camera will also come with a number of improvements, including square and food modes. The square camera mode will allow users to take pictures on one side and allow them to see a preview on the other. The food camera mode will have high color quality and saturation, making pictures of food a lot better.
MWC is just a few days away but there is already a lot of information on LG’s upcoming flagship phone. The company recently press invites for MWC and the phone is rumored to be making its debut on February 26. A recent report mentioned that the LG G6 could be released as early as next month in South Korea. The report also mentioned that the US release date would be a month later.
