Premier League Transfers and All The Latest Moves

The Premier League has just ended but teams are already making moves for next season. Big names have already been released while others have made a move or will remain on loan. Manchester City has been one of the busiest clubs but the moves are just getting started, so we will likely see big transfers in the next few days. Here are all the Premier League transfers and all the moves that have happened in the last few hours:

Manchester City

We begin this list with Manchester City, which has wasted no time in signing Bernardo Silva. The former Monaco midfielder has joined Manchester City on a $55 million deal. Manchester City has also released five players, which probably means the club is not done spending. Baccary Sagna, Willy Caballero, Pablo Zabaleta, Jesus Navas and Gael Clichy are the five players that were released. Zabaleta’s move had already been announced before the last game of the season and he will now play for West Ham.

Chelsea

Chelsea and Newcastle United reached an agreement that will keep Christian Atsu at Newcastle United for at least four more years. The $7 million move comes after Atsu spent a season with Newcastle United. Juan Cuadrado has also left Chelsea after joining Juventus on a three year loan deal last year. The winger will now remain with Italian champions Juventus. John Terry said yesterday that he will need one week to decide whether to retire or join another team.

Chelsea is reportedly interested in signing Tottenham right-back Kyle Walker and Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata.

West Ham

West Ham has released seven players, including Alvaro Arbeloa, who joined the club last year. The team has signed Pablo Zabaleta, who will remain in the Premier League after nine years with Manchester City. West Ham is reportedly interested in signing Everton star Ross Barkley.

Southampton

Southampton has released four players, including defender Martin Caceres. The Uruguayan footballer is now a free agent and the latest reports say he is in talks with Leicester City. Watford and Celtic are also said to be interested in signing the defender.

Manchester United

Manchester United are said to be in talks with Inter Milan to sign Ivan Perisic. It was reported just a few hours ago that the club had signed Michael Carrick to a one year contract. Antonio Valencia recently signed a one year extension that will keep him at the club until 2019. United’s record goalscorer, Wayne Rooney, is rumored to be leaving the club. Nothing has been confirmed but it’s rumored that the Chinese Super League is interested in bringing the Manchester United star. Other leagues are also being rumored, including MLS. Everton and Stoke City have also been mentioned as teams that might be interested in signing him.

Newcastle United

Christian Atsu, who was on a one year loan from Chelsea, will remain with Newcastle United after making a permanent move. The attacking midfielder, who signed a four year contract with Newcastle United, announced the move on Twitter. Atsu scored five goals in 32 appearances last season.

Burnley

Burnley have released seven players, including Joey Barton, who was recently given an 18 month suspension from all football activity. Jon Flanagan, who was on loan from Liverpool, will be going back to his club next season.

Arsenal

Arsenal have reportedly offered Alexis Sanchez a new contract that will keep him at the club for more years. Rumors about Sanchez leaving the club have surfaced these last few months and Manchester City is said to be one of the teams interested in signing him. Bayern Munich has also been mentioned as one of the teams the Chilean could sign for. Arsenal is coming off an FA Cup win against Chelsea but the club will need to make moves to compete for a Champions League spot next season.

Liverpool

Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita. The move could be record setting for the club as it’s rumored that it might cost them around $64 million. Mario Gotze is also being linked with a move to Liverpool. The attacking midfielder was linked with a move to the club last season but ended up joining Borussia Dortmund.

Tottenham

Tottenham had an impressive season, finishing second with 86 points. But the team could be different next season as some players are rumored to be leaving. Danny Rose and Kyle Walker are rumored to be some of the players leaving the club. Tottenham is reportedly interested in signing Ross Barkley. That move could end up costing them around $64 million.
