Gaming News: GTA V DLC Rumors, Dark Souls 3, CoD WaW 2

Rockstar have told fans of the online part of the game to stay tuned on new updates and events in the near future. Rumors are saying that a lot of accessories and items will be added. That’s not all, new properties could also appear soon.

Now on to the Franklin rumors, which were made bigger by the voice actor himself, Shawn Fonteno. He provided something that has people thinking if the character will get more on his storyline. On Instagram, he posted an image of Franklin dressed in black and holding a handgun. It looks like an old screenshot but his post is making fans believe that the game publisher is working on something for the character.

Now let’s talk about the heists, which has seen its share of rumors after an audio leak hit the internet a few days ago, the online missions called Money-Back Guarantee and The Drug Flip are said to be one of the few coming soon, but none of that has been confirmed by Rockstar, so we’ll just have to wait.

Dark Souls 3

Everything in the upcoming action role-playing video game will be reachable. What does that mean? Well, according to Mike Chang, global brand manager for Bandai Namco, it is “anything you see off in the distance, you’ll be able to travel to.”

The feature for the title, set to be released for Xbox One and PS4, will turn the game into a massive open world. Mike also added that Dark Souls 3 storytelling would be a little different from past games.

Call of Duty: World at War 2?

CoD WaWFans of the popular Call of Duty series were hoping they would get something old school this year, a new World War 2 game. That quickly ended with the Black Ops 3 announcement. But there are plans for one according to what Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg just said, or at least it is being considered.

The CEO of the popular game publisher spoke to IGN and said the company did not have any news about next year’s setting but did say that WaW 2 on Xbox One and PS4 could happen. “There are these moments where certain ideas seem to be floating in the collective consciousness, and there are two ‘meteor hitting the earth’ movies in one summer and were both in production for years,” he said.

“Indeed, video games experienced a similar occurrence when WWII-themed the Call of Duty, Battlefield, and Medal of Honor series saw regular releases for generations.

“Those kinds of things happen, so there’s definitely a chasing of innovation and new ideas within a well-worn genre that lead people to similar conclusions like changing time periods.

“And of course I think that opens up the opportunity for what is old is new again.”

Do you like the futuristic COD or do you want them to go back to World War 2? Are you planning on getting Dark Souls 3?
