Far Cry Primal Will Soon Be Out In Stores, Here’s What Makes It Stand Out

Far Cry Primal will be released next month and it promises to be as good or even better than previous games. The popular series last gave us a fictional Himalayan country that consisted of mountains and forests.

Primal will now take us back to the Stone Age, where you play as a hunter. The setting will be as dangerous as past games, with animals walking around and attacking anything that moves. This year’s release looks different, there were similarities between the last two Far Cry games. Many felt like the setting was changed a little.

Far CryThe title won’t be anything like Far Cry 4 or 3, players will now have to use bows, arrows and spears to survive against the enemies. The Stone Age is a time that is not featured very often, so it should be interesting to see how everything works. We have already seen from the trailers that animals will be a big part of the game.

Since players are hunters in this game, they will have the ability to tame animals and call them in when they need help. The trailers have shown that there will be tigers, wolves, badgers and bears. All of these animals were actually in Far Cry 4 but players didn’t have the option to tame them.

Animals, Skills and Release Date

The weapons in the game aren’t as fast as the ones featured in previous games since they are from the Stone Age, but you can call in your animals to fight against the enemies. Each animal comes with specific skills and does things differently. Bears will just go after the enemy while jaguars will wait for the best time to attack.

In the trailers and videos posted, we also saw that owls can be used to scout an area. This is a great feature as Far Cry is known for placing a number of enemies in one area. The owl can also mark enemies and attack. In Far Cry 4, we had a camera to mark enemies and look closer.

The Stone Age is a nice twist to the series and one that should be very fun to play in.

Far Cry Primal will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One on February 23. The title will be released for PC on March 1.
