This is why RDJ (Iron Man 2008) has made 50x what Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johannson, Jeremy Renner etc have made from Marvel/Disney. They were all signed to multi-film deals later, but RDJ was already Iron Man. He can make his price-per-film whatever they are willing to pay him. This is why I think he will die in Civil War instead of Evans.

As far as actors go, any surprise the stars of Harry Potter and Twilight top the list? Not at all.
Those franchises started before studios were smart enough to create multi-film contracts. With every successful sequel, the cast demanded more.
That’s how Taylor Lautner has made more than Josh Hutcherson, Logan Lerman, Dylan O’Brien, Shailene Woodley etc.
And Jennifer Lawrence has huge Star Power alone.

FYI – Rupert Grint is 27. Robert Pattinson is 29.
