The Nintendo NX has been a hot topic in the last few months and the center of all the talk seems to be about the hardware and if the company will release something as powerful as the PS4 and Xbox One. Rumors have also said the console will come with something better than its rivals. Some even say that the upgraded PS4 and all the rumors about the Xbox One doing the same are because Nintendo is preparing to release a really good console. We haven’t heard major details about the Nintendo NX but if all these rumors are true, what games are going to be part of the launch? Some gaming sites have reported that the console could see a few ports of Wii U games, so here we have a number of games that could be part of the console’s debut.
The Wii U has not sold as much units as the Wii but it does have some good games and there a still a few titles that have not been released and are expected to arrive for the console. One of those titles is The Legend of Zelda Wii U, which many fans have been waiting for. The game could arrive for the Wii U, even though the Nintendo NX is already seen as the replacement. The title is a fan favorite and many expect it to be on the next console. The Legend of Zelda games are super popular, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see it as part of the console’s launch.
Another game port that could help the Nintendo NX during its debut is Splatoon. Sales for the game crossed four million units two months ago, meaning that a little more than 30 percent of Wii U owners have bought the game. Splatoon for the Nintendo NX wouldn’t be a bad idea.
We could also mention the most popular Wii U games such as Mario Kart 8 and Super Mario Maker. Mario Kart 8 has taken the series to a new level, adding lots of new tracks, characters and vehicles. Super Mario Maker also makes a lot of sense, the game focuses on creating levels and letting others play them. The game has lots of created levels and the gaming giant has worked hard on adding new things to keep gamers entertained. Super Mario Maker is endless fun and many gamers would love to see it on the Nintendo NX.
Star Fox: Zero was released for the Wii U two days ago and a few other titles are going to arrive to the console in the next few months, so they should be considered too. There’s also Super Smash Bros., Xenoblade Chronicles X, and the rest of the Super Mario games, so there’s a lot to choose for game ports.
The Nintendo NX release date is still not known but after the latest rumors, we can’t wait to hear from Nintendo and its next console.
