Amazon Adds Prime Reading To Its Prime Benefits

Amazon is making the Prime membership benefits even better with its latest addition. The online retailer has now added Prime Reading, which gives US Amazon Prime members unlimited access to books, magazines and many more content. The Amazon Prime membership, which costs $99 a year, already has a number of benefits such as free two day shipping.

The Amazon Prime Reading service can be used through an e-book reader or the Kindle app on your smartphone. The online retailer is offering thousands of books and even travel guides for Amazon Prime members. Prime Reading will also have magazines and while the online retailer has not confirmed any titles, there will be plenty of content to read as Amazon says it will cover technology, sports and many other things that people love to read.

This is good addition for Amazon Prime, especially for those who love to read books, magazines and comics. Prime Reading is the second service that the online retailer adds to its Amazon Prime membership in recent weeks. Last month, Amazon quietly added a new service for printing photos. The service called Amazon Prints, offers photo prints starting at $0.09 and photo books starting at $19.99.

The Amazon Prime benefits were already enough for some customers to sign up for the membership but the online retailer has not stopped adding more. The Amazon Prime membership costs $99 a year and the company is doing all it can to attract more members. According to Consumer Intelligence Research Partners, a research group that recently revealed a study on how many Prime members the company had, customers usually spend more when they are signed up for the Amazon Prime membership. The free two day shipping, TV shows and access to Prime Pantry may sound like enough benefits for a membership but Amazon is focused on adding more, which is always good for the customer.

Amazon Prime has also become very useful for the Amazon Prime Day, which will reportedly return for its third year in 2017. The second Prime Day happened in July 12 and gave Prime members new deals and discounts throughout the day.

If you’re an Amazon Prime member, you can now start reading books for free. The online retailer has not announced the titles for the magazines but they will reportedly cover many topics.
