He recorded extensively during that time, some of his best material too. “Bluegrass Rules” (1997), “Ancient Tones”(1999), “Soldier of the Cross”(1999), “Big Mon: The Music of Bill Monroe”(2000), “History of the Future”(2001), “Brand New Strings”(2004), “Salt of the Earth”(2007). How did Brooke Carter miss those major studio albums? Why is someone who knows nothing about Skaggs or his music allowed to write such nonsense?
