You of course have the traditional method, where the speaker connects to a device over a Bluetooth connection. You can also play music through a USB or AUX connection. However, it’s not every day that you see a speaker that is able to play music from a microSD card. How exactly does that work? If you’re ever in a situation where you don’t have access to a Bluetooth-enabled device, then you can still listen to music by inserting a microSD card. I really like this form of connectivity, since it basically allows you to use your speaker as a standalone listening device. It isn’t often that something like that can happen.

Its design primarily uses rubber and metal to create something that never feels fragile in your hands. The rubber creates something of a sleeve around the entire speaker, which gives it certain shockproof qualities. You’ll find that the device can fall from around waist-height without suffering any kind of damage, which is obviously a useful quality to have in something that you may use in an outdoor setting. If you’re like me, a lot of portable speakers tend to feel too delicate. You definitely don’t have to worry about that with this particular product.
Outside of that, the Corbett I S Waterproof Speaker is just really functional. It does all of the standard portable speaker tricks. However, it also steps outside of that and does a lot of things that you don’t see in every speaker. For instance, the integrated microphone lets you accept hands-free phone calls. One of my favorite features that actually works very well in practice is the ability to connect two different speakers to a single Bluetooth source. Each speaker will serve as a separate audio channel, which gives you ability to create a really awesome stereo-like experience. This is a speaker that does everything that you would expect it to do and then some. It does all of that without ever requiring much maintenance, either. All around, it’s a very versatile and easy-to-use device. TimoLabs had a really smart design in mind, and they executed it without a hitch.
Is the Corbett I S Waterproof Speaker actually worth it?
As far as waterproof portable speakers go, $99 is actually not that bad of a price. However, I can still understand why someone may be hesitant to spend that kind of money on a brand that they may not be as familiar with as some others. Whenever I look into buying a piece of tech that costs this kind of money, I try to consider how long I will be able to use it. Considering the hardy, tough design of the Corbett I S Waterproof Speaker, I feel completely confident in saying that it could easily last someone a few years. Although it may seem like a large investment now, it isn’t that bad when you consider that this device can be something that becomes a central aspect of your home or outdoor audio set-up. This product is definitely not something that you’ll buy, knowing that it may require replacement within a few months. The purchase would go a long way.
Not only that, but the speaker lends itself to a ton of different functions. As I alluded to before, you can use it in the home just as easily as you can use it on a road trip.
