Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 Concept Renders Show New Front Camera and More

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 has already been confirmed by the company and tech fans can’t wait to see what Xiaomi will unveil later this year. The Xiaomi Mi Mix was one of the most impressive phones of 2016 and the second version is expected to improve on a few things.

The Mi Mix was released back in November and despite the phone selling very quickly in flash sales, tech fans are now talking on what Xiaomi might add or improve to continue its success with the Mi Mix series. New concept renders from the YouTube channel Concept Creator show a number of interesting additions and improvements to the phone. Thought the screen of the Mi Mix was impressive? Check out what Concept Creator is showing for the Mi Mix 2.

The Mi Mix 2 is rumored be coming with a 93 percent screen to body ratio. It is not the first time that the 93 percent screen to body ratio is rumored but it is always cool to see how the phone could look like once it’s released.

One of the rumored additions to this phone is said to be on the camera. The main camera on the concept render is said to be 16MP but the coolest change appears to be on the front camera, which slides out. The front camera, which other concept renders have also shown that it will be retractable, is said to be 12MP.

The Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 is still months away from its release but the concept renders are giving everyone an idea on what the company is planning to add or improve to impress. Xiaomi confirmed back in February that it had started to work on the Mi Mix 2. It was also confirmed that French designer Philippe Starck, who designed the Mi Mix concept phone, is helping design the second version.

Xiaomi’s next phone launch could be for the Mi 6, which according to renders could have a similar design to the Mi Note 2. Rumors have also mentioned that the phone could have a ceramic body and a dual camera. The Xiaomi Mi 6 is rumored to be making its debut in April while the Mi Mix 2 could be launched some time in the second half of 2017.
