Xiaomi has been really busy these last few weeks, releasing its flagship smartphone, the Mi 6, and the Mi Max 2. But the Chinese smartphone makers appears to be working on another series of popular devices, the Mi Note 3. According to a new leak, the company is working on the successor of the Mi Note 2.
The alleged smartphone appears in a leaked render and like most Xiaomi phones, it is rumored to have solid specs. It’s been just seven months since the Xiaomi Mi Note 2 was released but there are already plenty of rumors and images of the rumored Mi Note 3. The new image shows a near bezel-less design. The phablet does have a home button below the screen, which is where the fingerprint scanner will probably be located.
New Xiaomi phones such as the Mi 6 feature dual camera technology and that is also rumored for the Mi Note 3. The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 featured a 22.5MP camera. The phablet has not been confirmed and no details are known about how many variants the company plans to release. Last year’s Mi Note 2 was released in three variants (4GB RAM/64GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage and a Global version with 6GB RAM/128GB storage).
Here are the rest of the rumored specs for the Xiaomi Mi Note 3:
- 5.7-inch AMOLED display.
- 12MP dual cameras and an 8MP front camera.
- Snapdragon 835 processor.
- 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.
- 4000mAh battery.
