Losing data is never fun, no matter what platform you’re on. It’s not altogether uncommon to accidentally delete a file. Deleting files is easy, and that means that you can easily lose that fifty page essay, or that holiday home video. If you happen to delete your stuff off of a computer, there are things that you can do to retrieve that data. Believe it or not, when something is “deleted” from your computer, it typically isn’t entirely deleted right away. This gives you the chance to recover lot data before it’s gone forever. Now, does that same principle apply to data that is accidentally deleted from an iPhone? An iPhone is obviously different from a regular computer, but it still functions similarly.
If you’ve happened to delete something off of your iPhone, and if that thing wasn’t backed up in any way, then you may think that you’re out of luck entirely. However, there are tools that exist specifically to recover data that has been deleted off of an iPhone. Primo iPhone Data Recovery is one of those tools, and in this article, I’m going to be talking all about it. I’ll review its features, tell you how it works, and I’ll also make sure to discuss whether or not it’s worth the money that you may end up spending on it. If done right, a software like this could be invaluable to iPhone owners everywhere. Without further ado, let’s get right into this.
Software Details

- Up to 25 types of data can be recovered
Primo iPhone Data Recovery, obviously, has a very simple premise. If you have lost your data, this tool helps you get it back. One of the more obvious applications of this is your camera. The iPhone has an excellent camera, and it would be crushing to lose those vacation photos forever, right? No matter how you lose your pictures, this software will be able to recover them. Whether they were deleted during a system wipe while you were jailbreaking your phone or if you just accidentally tapped ‘delete’ while you were viewing your photos, Primo iPhone Data Recovery can get them back. Even more than that, they’re able to get them back without ruining the original quality of the photo. That’s a pretty common issue whenever you’re recovering any lost data. Corruption is always a possibility. It really isn’t as much of an issue when you’re using this tool, however.
This software also allows you to recover a lot of personal information that you may have had saved on your iPhone. I know that a lot of people tend to center their whole lives around their smartphones. They use their iPhone to store their contact information, they use the Notes app to store passwords or ideas or journal entries, and they have a lot of really important information in their text messages. If you happen to accidentally delete any of this, then Primo iPhone Data Recovery is able to save this data and allow you to view it from your computer as a text file, among other formats. The software is also able to selectively extract files from a pre-existing backup without having to do a complete system restore. Maybe you accidentally deleted something that was backed up, but you aren’t in the mood to completely restore from a backup. This software lets you pick and choose exactly what files you want to bring back from a backup.
How do you use Primo iPhone Data Recovery?
Primo iPhone Data Recovery is very easy to use, but it does offer quite a few different functionalities. I think that one of the more commonly used functionalities, however, is recovering data that was deleted without a backup. The process for doing this with the software is really quite easy. Once you have the software launched, you need to connect your device to your computer via a USB cable. On the left side of the screen, there are multiple symbols. In order to recover data directly from an iOS device, you need to click the topmost symbol, and then click the ‘Next’ button at the bottom of the screen. As soon as you’ve hit that button, Primo iPhone Data Recovery will begin to scan your phone. It will indicate whenever it has found data that can be recovered through the sidebar.
From the sidebar, you can sort of pick and choose what data is being scanned for. To save time, you can always just stop the scan once the data category that you’re trying to restore has been scanned entirely. Once you’ve finished the scan, you’re able to preview the results of the scan by clicking along the sidebar and viewing the items that appear in the recovery window. (You’re able to view all items as well as items that were only just deleted.) If there’s something specific that you’re looking for, you can use the search bar to search for data by a keyword. Once you’ve found the data that you want to recover, select it, and click the ‘Recover’ button at the bottom of the screen. Indicate whether you want to restore the data to your computer or to your iDevice. It’s really as easy as that!
Is Primo iPhone Data Recovery worth it?
So, if you want to purchase this software, you have a couple of options. You can buy a personal license for $39.99, which grants you a license for a single PC. With this license, you receive free lifetime upgrades and 24/7 customer support. You’re also able to purchase a family license. A family license costs $59.99, and it grants you a license for up to 5 Macs and PCs. You receive free lifetime priority upgrades, and you also receive 24/7 advanced support. Obviously, the family license is meant for someone who wants to use this tool across multiple computers, and the personal license is meant for someone who only wants to use it on one. That’s a decision that should be easy enough to make. However, should you spring for either of these licenses at all? Is $39.99 really worth what you’re getting?
In my opinion, it sort of is. There aren’t really any other ways to recover data that has been deleted off of your iPhone without a backup. The ability to selectively recover data from a backup is certainly convenient, but the real draw to this app is the restore from device functionality. In my mind, this functionality is priceless. If you accidentally deleted something very important to you, $39.99 is a very small price to pay to get it back forever. I’ve used examples in this article like vacation photos, holiday videos, and so on. If you happen to delete any of those things, I think that you would be very grateful to have a tool like Primo iPhone Data Recovery to get it back. I highly recommend this software to anyone who has a need for something like it in their lives.
