The Best iPhone Data Recovery Software – Top 3 Picks

It seems that just about everyone is carrying around an iPhone these days. Over the last 10 years it’s seemed like the iPhone has become an integral part of everyday life, managing everything from our social life to allowing us to stay up to date on work and personal tasks from just about anywhere.  So you can imagine how quickly your heart drops when something crucial to your life goes missing or is accidentally deleted from your iPhone. Be it a contact number, gallery of photos from an important date, or a crucial work related project/document.

So one of the most important pieces of software in 2017 may just be a trustworthy and easy to use iPhone Data Recovery Software. It’s really one of those things that you don’t realize how bad you need it, until you REALLY need it!

So today we are going to take a look at some of the best available options out there in 2017 to figure out which iPhone data recovery software you should use when that inevitable time comes!

What To Look For in Your iPhone Data Recovery Software – Our Main Factors

  1. Price & Value
  2. How Well it Works / Ease of Use
  3. Compatibility

Our #1 Pick – Primo iPhone Data Recovery

After reviewing the different options available our #1 pick was Primo iPhone Data Recovery.  Why you ask?

Well first off the price. Rather than going the “Freeware” route and then charging you an arm and a leg to “upgrade” the software to something that actually allows you to recover files they offer the software for a reasonable $39.99.  A lot of the competitors in the space offer a “free” version that drastically strips the functionality and really seems like a ploy to get the software installed on your PC or Mac and then up-charge you to actually use it.

Second the software is one of the few that actually allows you to recover just about any type of file you would like. With the ability to recover over 25 different types of content you are pretty much set no matter what you need to recover.  You can get everything from lost contacts to messages and photos.  Plus you can not only recover the data but save it in a variety of formats right on your computer such as HTML, TEXT, CSV, VCF… the list goes on and on.

Additionally the software is compatible with just about any apple device you have. From the latest iPhone editions (including the iPhone 8 & iPhone X) all the way back to the iPhone 4s (sorry if you’re still in the stone age and have an iPhone 3.) It also works with most all iPad’s and iPod’s from the iPod touch 3 on to the present day.  So unless your device is older than this you should be good to go.

When it comes down to it the software offered by PrimoSync is one of the best values for everything the software is capable of. It really is the Swiss army knife of iOS data recovery.

Runner-Up – EaseUS MobiSaver

easeus mobisaver

The closest competitor we found was MobiSaver by EaseUS. Like mentioned above they offer a free version however it only covers 12 file types and requires a $69.95 payment to unlock the full version.  That said if you are looking for a great software from a quality company at a slightly higher price you can’t go wrong here either.

Honorable Mention – iMobie PhoneRescue

The other option that caught our eye was PhoneRescue by iMobie.  Again there is a free version but the fully featured version comes in at $49.99, right in the middle of the other two programs above. It allows recovery of a ton of file types (up to 31 different types) and has a ton of modes. It’s a complex software and has a lot of functionality so if you have a very unique need it may be the right option for you but if you simply want to recover or backup some files it’s probably going to be a bit more overwhelming than other options out there.

In the end all 3 of these software programs will likely do the trick, with Primo iPhone Data Recovery making it super simple and doing it for a lower cost than the other 2 options.
