Hailing from Council Bluffs, Iowa, Farrah Abraham became pregnant at the age of seventeen, by his then-boyfriend, Derek Underwood. Tragically, he had passed away in a car accident when she was eight months into her pregnancy. In the summer of 2009, the teen was featured in an episode of the MTV series, 16 and Pregnant, which documented her first couple of months of motherhood. Not long afterward, she was cast in the spin-off, Teen Mom, a show that proved to be relatively popular among viewers, having drawn in 2.1 million viewers during its premiere. Later in 2014, she also joined the cast of Couples Therapy, which aired on VH1.
What has she been up to this year? Aside from having appeared in the seventh season of Teen Mom, which premiered in April 2017, she has also been cast as one of the main stars in the reality series, Marriage Boot Camp (a spin-off of Bridezillas). Some of the other shows that she has appeared in recently include Daily Pop, and Shane & Friends. Outside of reality TV, she has also gotten involved with acting- earlier this summer, she made her movie debut in the horror title, Adam K
