Five Below was founded in Wayne Pennsylvania on October 4, 2002, by David Schlessinger and Tom Vellios, both of whom were previously in charge of the store called Zany Brainy, which use to sell educational choices and multimedia products aimed at a target market of children. They sell a number of different items such as games, fashion accessories, bath and body items, candy, room decorations, school supplies, books, electronic accessories and phone cases, novelty items, and is occasionally seasonal items. As of the fall of 2017, Five Below has over 600 stores in 32 different states. It also has two distribution centers. Its newest stores are in California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and New Mexico. Five Below’s corporate headquarters is now in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

When does Five Below open on Black Friday?
Five Below opens up at 7 am on Black Friday 2017, but they are also open from 6 pm to 1 am on Thanksgiving. They have deals that are only available on Thursday or Friday, so make sure that you visit Five Below this holiday weekend to get great, inexpensive gifts for your friends and family.
Five Below Black Friday Hours:
- Thanksgiving, November 23rd: 6 pm to 1 am.

Can you shop on their website or is it in Five Below Stores only?
Since last year, Five Below has opened up their online shops. While they don’t have any online exclusive deals, it looks like you will be able to shop on fivebelow.com as well. They encourage you to order items by 12/13 in order to receive them by Christmas. You can also visit fivebelow.com to see hours, store phone numbers, and directions to the nearest store.
What is Five Below’s return policy?
Five Below allows you to bring back any unopened or defective merchandise to be exchanged for the same item or another item of equal value within 14 days of the original purchase price. If you’d rather not exchange it, you can get a full return in the original form of payment if you have a receipt, or a Five Below gift card if you do not. You will also receive a Five Below gift card if the item was purchased more then two weeks prior to the date of the return.
