Tupac Height, Weight, Age & Wife

Hailed as one of the greatest artists of all times, Tupac sold more than 75 million records throughout his career. From East Harlem, New York, he had honed his rap game for many years ever since his teens. In 1991, the rapper released his debut album titled, 2Pacalypse Now. A solid hit, it gave rise to several tracks including, If My Homie Calls, Brenda’s Got a Baby, Words of Wisdom, and Rebel of the Underground. From there, he dropped his second project, Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.. in 1993. Even more successful than his debut, it reached platinum status in the United States after selling over a million copies.

Continuing to rise in prominence, he issued a third album titled, Me Against the World in March of 1995. His first record to reach number one, it spawned a handful of smash hits including, Dear Mama which went on to receive platinum accreditation from the RIAA. A few other highlights from the playlist include Can U Get Away, Lord Knows, Death Around the Corner, Heavy in the Game, and So Many Tears. Propelling him into a new level of fame, the album has since sold over 3.5 million copies in the US, making it his first multi-platinum record.

From there, his popularity reached an all new high with the release of his next album, All Eyes on Me. Met with universal acclaim, it quickly topped both the Billboard 200 and the Top R&B Albums charts in the US. Responsible for the singles, I Ain’t Mad at Cha, California Love, How Do U Want IT, and 2 of American Most Wanted, it garnered numerous accolades including an American Music Award for Favourite Hip Hop Artist. One of the most popular albums of the 90’s, it eventually attained diamond certification in 2014- nearly two decades after its original release.

Since Tupac’s death in 1996, a handful of albums have been released in his honor. The first of them, R U Still Down? (Remember Me) was released in the fall of 1997- incredibly successful, it went on to sell over two million copies across the country. From then until now, four additional titles have been released including, Until the End of Time, Better Days, Loyal to the Game, and Pac’s Life. On top of all that, a number of compilation albums have also been issued over the past decade including, The Rose That Grew from Concrete, The Prophet: The Best of the Works, The Prophet Returns, and Best of 2Pac Part 1 and Part 2.
