Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Ty Dolls Sign first got involved with music through his father’s band, Lakeside. Eventually teaching himself how to play the guitar, he released his first project, Raw & Banging with his partner Kory in 2007. Though they later had a falling out, he managed to land a music deal with Atlanta Records in 2012. From there, he came out with several mixtapes including, House on the Hill, Beach House, Sign Language, and Whoop!, before dropping his debut album, Free TC in 2015. His first record to reach the US charts, it spawned three RIAA-certified hits, Blasé, Saved, and Wavy.
Most recently, the rapper issued his second studio album, Beach House 3 on October 27, 2017. More successful than his first, it reached as high as number 11 on the US Billboard 200. In terms of singles, the album spawned two hits, Love U Better (Feat. Lil Wayne and The-Dream), and So Am I (Feat. Damian Marley and Skrillex). To promote the release, Ty Dolls Sign embarked on a concert tour which spanned the majority of this year. A worldwide event, it saw him performing as far as Australia and the Netherlands. As of November 2017, he still has three performances left in California and Canada.
