In 1968, Randy Repass started selling nylon nautical rope out of his garage in Sunnyvale, California, calling his company West Coast Ropes. Business was good enough that he was able to open his first store in Palo Alto in 1975, rebranding in 1977 to West Marine Products after acquiring new assets from West Products. By 1991, West Marine had reached the East Coast and today, the company spans 278 locations with franchise stores in Puerto Rico and Canada. What is the West Marine Return Policy?
If you’re not satisfied with your purchase, you have 30 days from the original purchase date to request a return. If you have a West Rewards membership, your purchase will be on record and you won’t need your receipt. Returns with receipt will be processed as credit to the original payment method (for debit cards, MasterCard and Visa only, all other debits card purchases will be refunded to a gift card). Returns without receipt or outside of the 30 day return window will be processed as credit to a gift card.
