Trippie Redd Bio – 2018 Update
Born in Canton, Ohio, Trippie Redd developed an interest in music as a result of what his mother used to play in the home- Beyonce, Nas, and Tupac, to name a few. Inspired further by his older brother, he released his first songs, New Ferrari and Sub-Zero in 2014. From there, he eventually moved to Atlanta following his high school graduation; with the help of Lil Wop, he was quickly offered a record deal. Finding himself inside a professional recording studio, he got right to work at his debut. His first extended play Awakening My Inner Beast was later released in 2016; it was subsequently followed by Beast Mode, and Rock the World, Trippie.
Following through with more releases, Trippie Redd went on to drop A Love Letter You’ll Never Get and Angels & Demons earlier this year, the latter of which was a collaboration with Lil Wop. But that’s not all- he also came out with two mixtapes, one of which included the popular A Love Letter to You. Preceded by the charting single, Love Scars, which reached number 46 in the United States, the record received acclaim from critics who praised it for its diversity and harmonies delivery. A definite hit, it later peaked at number 84 on the Billboard Top 200. His second mixtape of the year, A Love Letter to You 2, was issued in October 2017. Another success, it too has also gone on to chart on the Billboard 200.
