A competitive figure skater, Bradie Tennell was recently named to the American Figure Skating Team for the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang. Since then, she has already won a bronze medal in the Team Event.
Hailing from Illinois, Bradie Tennell has been on the ice ever since she was two years old. A member of the Skokie Valley Figure Skating Club, she made her senior international debut during the 2016-17 season at the CS Tallinn Trophy, where she successfully finished third on the podium. From there, she competed and finished 9th overall at the 2017 US Championships.
How Bradie Tennell Became Famous
Ultimately, it was during the 2017-18 season that the skater rose in prominence. Not only did she win the bronze medal at 2017 Skate America, but she also managed to finish first at the 2018 US Figure Skating Championships, with a total combined score of 219.51. Following the win, it was announced that she would be representing the United States at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in PyeongChang.
Fast forward to earlier this month, and she has made her Olympic debut in the women’s SP of the Team Event. With a score of 68.94, a season’s best, she finished in fifth place, just 0.01 points behind the fourth competitor. In the end, Team USA won the bronze medal at the Team Event.
Bradie Tennell’s Programs
For the 2017-18 season, Tennell is currently skating to Cinderella by Patrick Doyle for her Free Skate and to Taegukgi by Lee Dong-jun for her Short Program.
Previously, she had skated to The Mission and Remember Me for the 2016-17 season.
Some of the other songs that she’s used in the past include Tango in Ebony, The Storm, Far and Away, Infinity, Act 2, Pas de deux-Intrada, and Sozo.
