It seems like every week there is new information about the upcoming Moto G smartphones. Just a few hours ago, more information surfaced on one of the three smartphones that the company will announce.
That smartphone is the Moto G6 Plus, which could be the most powerful and expensive out of the three. In recent weeks, there have been plenty of rumors and leaks on the two other versions but just hours ago, the Moto G6 Plus was spotted on Geekbench.
Among the information seen there is a Snapdragon 660 processor, Android 8.0 and 4GB of RAM. In there, we also test scores, the model name and a few other details. It was previously rumored that the Moto G6 Plus would be powered by a Snapdragon 630 processor.
The Moto G6 Plus is rumored to be one of three smartphones that the company will announce in a few days. The other two are the Moto G6 Play and the Moto G6, which have also appeared in Geekbench in recent months.
The Play version, which first made its debut with the Moto G4 releases, will be returning after skipping the Moto G5. The Moto G series has always stood out for offering affordable smartphones but the Play version takes it to a new level by offering an ever cheaper smartphone. According to Geekbench, the Play variant should have a 5.7-inch display, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a Snapdragon 430 processor. The Moto G6 was spotted in Geekbench back in February. The budget phone is said to have a Snapdragon 625 processor, 3GB of RAM and 16GB of storage.
The Moto G6 was absent from MWC 2018 but the wait could soon be over as reports have revealed that Motorola has sent out invites for an event in Sao Paulo, Brazil on April 19. The launch of that phone has not been confirmed for the event but many of us believe that the Moto G6 will be there.
In other Motorola news, the Moto E5 Plus has also been spotted on Geekbench. The page reveals interesting information such as a Snapdragon 430, Android 8.0 and 3GB of RAM. The Moto E4 and E4 Plus were announced back in June 2017, so the launch of the Moto E5 might be close.
