WWE WrestleMania 34 – Match Card, Predictions and More

WWE WrestleMania 34 is almost here and fans can’t wait to see what happens in the event, which currently has 13 matches. This year’s WrestleMania promises to be a good one not only because it has great matches but also because there is a little bit of mystery. We don’t know what’s going to happen with John Cena and The Undertaker. Then there is the mystery tag team partner for Braun Strowman, who is looking to win his first title since making his main roster debut. Here we have the WrestleMania 34 match card, predictions and more:

Kickoff Show

The kickoff show has three matches, with one of them being for a title. The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal returns and there are currently 19 superstars for that match. Mojo Rawley, Baron Corbin, Kane and Matt Hardy are among the participants.

Prediction: I think Matt Hardy will win this one. In recent episodes of WWE Raw, we’ve seen him focused on winning the trophy. Two of the biggest names in the match, Rawley and Corbin, have already won it, so I don’t think we’ll see that again.

The Women’s Battle Royal, which currently has 14 participants, is also on the kickoff show. Bayley, Sasha Banks, Ruby Riott and Naomi are some of the superstars that have been confirmed for the match.

Prediction: There are so many superstars that could win this one but I see this ending between Sasha Banks and Bayley. I think Bayley will win and this will be a continuation of the feud that started a few weeks back.

The other match of the kickoff show is between Cedric Alexander and Mustafa Ali. The two will face each other for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship, which was vacated after Enzo Amore was released. In January, a 16-man tournament was announced. Alexander and Ali are the last two remaining after defeating superstars such as Strong, TJP, Murphy and Gulak.

Prediction: Alexander wins to become the new WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

The Miz vs. Seth Rollins vs. Finn Balor

The Miz asked for a challenger and got not one but two. Rollins and Balor both defeated the WWE Intercontinental Champion to earn a title opportunity at WrestleMania 34. Since the announcement of the match, Rollins and Balor have faced each other twice, with each winning one.

Prediction: This one is between Rollins and Balor, who have already faced each other for a title when the WWE Universal Championship was created. I think Balor wins this one just because he hasn’t won anything since becoming the first ever WWE Universal Champion, a title he had to vacate due to injury.

Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax

The friendship between Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss came to an end when the WWE Raw Women’s Champion was seen making fun of Jax. Bliss later complained to Kurt Angle about Nia Jax chasing her and he responded by announcing a title match between them at WrestleMania 34.

Prediction: Nia Jax has not won a title since debuting on the main roster. She’s been very close in the past and I think she will finally win it on Sunday.

Cesaro and Sheamus vs. Strowman and ???

The Bar will be facing Braun Strowman and a mystery partner. Strowman earned a tag title opportunity by adding himself and winning a tag team battle royal. In recent episodes of WWE Raw, Strowman has defeated Sheamus and Cesaro in single matches.

Prediction: No one knows who Strowman is going to bring as a tag team partner but it really doesn’t have to be a top superstar since he has easily defeated both Sheamus and Cesaro. Strowman wins to become a tag team champion.

Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka

Asuka won the first women’s Royal Rumble match and later decided to challenge the WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair. Asuka is still undefeated but Flair has vowed that she will end that.

Prediction: Asuka wins, keeping her undefeated streak. It will be interesting to see what happens with Carmella since she has been trying to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase for some time now.

Daniel Bryan and Shane vs. Owens and Zayn

Bryan will be back to a WWE ring just a few years after announcing that he would no longer wrestle. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion and Intercontinental Champion was recently cleared by doctors, allowing him to return. Owens and Zayn, who have feuded with Shane for a while now, attacked Bryan after he announced his return. The two had previously attacked Shane.

Prediction: Daniel Bryan is returning and even though he is facing two strong opponents, I think him and Shane will leave with the victory on Sunday.

The Usos vs. The New Day vs. The Bludgeon Brothers

The rivalry between The Usos and The New Day is nothing new but they won’t be the only ones competing at WrestleMania 34. The Bludgeon Brothers, who have dominated since debuting in the WWE SmackDown tag team division, will also be part of the match.

Prediction: We’ve seen The New Day and The Usos win against each other several times but I think The Bludgeon Brothers will continue their great run and win the tag team championships.

Orton vs. Roode vs. Mahal vs. Rusev

Orton won the WWE US Championship from Roode at WWE Fastlane. Roode then asked for his rematch at WrestleMania 34 but later lost a singles match to Mahal. A match between the three was later scheduled for WrestleMania. Mahal would later team up with Rusev to face Orton and Roode. Rusev pinned Orton and asked to be added to the match.

Prediction: Rusev Day wins.

Kurt Angle and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie

Ronda Rousey recently signed with WWE but things got a little out of control when Angle revealed what Triple H and Stephanie had said about her. Rousey later chose Stephanie as her first opponent but the match got bigger when Triple H attacked Angle for what he had said.

Prediction: Ronda Rousey is debuting in the WWE so I don’t see her losing.

AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura won the Royal Rumble match and made it clear that he wanted to face AJ Styles at WrestleMania 34. Styles successfully defended the WWE Championship at WWE Fastlane, confirming that the match would happen.

Prediction: Nakamura fell short in his previous title matches when Jinder Mahal was WWE Champion but I think he will finally win the title on Sunday. It won’t be the first time that these two face each other but fans can’t wait to see it again.

Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns

Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns will meet at WrestleMania once again, this time for the WWE Universal Championship. Last time, it was Rollins who left as the champion when he cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Reigns won the title opportunity after winning the Elimination Chamber match.

Prediction: There are reports saying that Brock Lesnar will leave WWE to fight in the UFC. This has most people thinking, including me, that Reigns will be the new champion.

WWE WrestleMania 34 is scheduled for Sunday, April 8. It will begin with the kickoff show at 4:30 PM ET. The main show starts at 7 PM ET.
