A child actress, Mia Talerico launched her acting career when she was just eleven months old in the Primetime Emmy Award-nominated series, Good Luck Charlie. Her most prominent TV credit to date, she remained on the show for four years, up until 2014. Since then, she has appeared in a few other TV titles such as Mani, Photographic Memory, and Shadow Theory.
Born on September 17, 2008, in Santa Barbara, California, she is the older of two siblings- she has a younger sister named Aubrey. After producers were unsuccessful at finding a pair of twins to play the role of Charlie, she was cast in the Disney series in 2010.
How Did Mia Talerico Became Famous?
As mentioned above, the nine-year-old is best known for playing the titular role of Charlie in the Disney comedy series, Good Luck Charlie. Despite the fact that she was only 11-months old at the time, her appearance on the show had garnered her much attention. Starring alongside Bridget Mendler, she ultimately remained on the series until 2014. By then, she had earned herself a considerable fanbase as a young star.
A year after her television debut, she played the part of Charlie Duncan in the first TV movie spinoff, Good Luck Charlie, It’s Christmas, which aired on December 2, 2011.
Mia Talerico’s Other Television Roles
In 2013, she appeared in a Good Luck Charlie and Jessie crossover (episode: “Good Luck Jessie: New York City Christmas), where she reprised her role as Charlie Duncan.
Since the end of the Disney series, she has played a few other roles, such as that of Paige in the comedy, Mani, which recently premiered in 2018. Prior to that, she also appeared in a couple of short films titled, Photographic Memory and Shadow Theory.
