WWE Extreme Rules (2018) – Start Time and Match Card

There will be several titles on the line when WWE Extreme Rules (2018) kicks off Sunday night. The PPV will feature superstars from the SmackDown and Raw rosters. There is a total of 12 matches scheduled for the event, including two for the kickoff show. Here is the match card for WWE Extreme Rules (2018):

Kickoff Show

WWE Extreme Rules currently has two matches scheduled for the PPV. The first match is between Andrade Cien Almas and Sin Cara. Cien Almas recently arrived to the WWE SmackDown roster and ran into Sin Cara who reminded him about their friendship. Cien Almas warned that him that they were not friends. This is actually a rematch of what we saw in the most recent episode of SmackDown. Cien Almas won that match.

The second match of the kickoff show is The New Day vs. Sanity. The New Day were recently attacked by Sanity, leading to a match that could put the winner in the tag team title race.

AJ Styles vs. Rusev

AJ Styles will be putting his title on the line against Rusev, who won a gauntlet match to become the number one contender. AJ Styles is coming off a long feud against Shinsuke Nakamura, who is now in the race for the WWE US Championship.

Carmella vs. Asuka

Carmella retained the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank. Her win was with the help of a returning James Ellsworth. A few weeks later, SmackDown General Manager Paige announced a rematch at WWE Extreme Rules.

Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax

Alexa Bliss became the WWE Raw Women’s Champion after cashing in her Money in the Bank contract at Money in the Bank. Nia Jax then requested for her rematch at WWE Extreme Rules. Ronda Rousey, who faced Nia Jax at Money in the Bank, was suspended for attacking WWE Raw General Manager Kurt Angle.

Roman Reigns vs. Bobby Lashley

Reigns and Lashley will face each other for the first time after teaming up in the last few weeks. Both have claimed that they can match Lesnar but their match against the champion was canceled. The winner here will probably determine the number one contender for the WWE Universal Championship.

Braun Strowman vs. Kevin Owens

Braun Strowman will be facing Kevin Owens in a steel cage match. In recent weeks, Owens has tried to run from Strowman and failed. Strowman has not only destroyed his rental car but also thrown him in a portable toilet.

Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin

Finn Balor will be facing Baron Corbin, who has a new look. This is a recent feud but we saw Balor attack Corbin when the WWE Raw superstars were separating a fight between Lashley and Reigns.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins

Last month, Dolph Ziggler defeated Seth Rollins to become the WWE Intercontinental Champion. The win came off a distraction from Drew McIntyre. The two had a rematch the following week and McIntyre interfered once again.

Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt vs. The B-Team

WWE Raw Tag Team Champions Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt will be facing The B-Team after they won a battle royal to become the number one contenders. The B-Team is currently undefeated and will be looking to shock the world once again at the event.

Jeff Hardy vs. Shinsuke Nakamura

Nakamura will be facing Jeff Hardy for the WWE United States Championship. Nakamura is coming off a feud against AJ Styles, who retained his title at WWE Money in the Bank.

The Bludgeon Brothers vs. Team Hell No

The WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champions will be facing Daniel Bryan and Kane, who are back together as Team Hell No. The match was announced by WWE SmackDown General Manager Paige. The Usos later demanded a tag title opportunity and faced Bryan and Kane to be included in the match. The former SmackDown tag team champions ended up losing their match against Team Hell No.

WWE Extreme Rules (2018) begins at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT. The kickoff show will begin one hour before.
