August Releases: 3 Smartphones Worth a Look

The month of August is just getting started but some smartphone makers have already announced new devices. The month of August will likely see many more smartphones but Xiaomi, Motorola and Samsung are planning early releases. Here are three August releases that are worth a look:

Xiaomi Mi A2

Xiaomi announced the Mi A2 late last month but the smartphone will be coming to several countries later this month. The Xiaomi Mi A2 has been heavily talked about since it provides the Android One experience that many smartphones don’t have. Its price is also very solid, making it a good option for those not wanting to spend much on a new device. The Chinese tech giant also announced the Mi A2 Lite at the same event, so customers have an even cheaper option available as well.

Motorola Moto Z3

Motorola recently announced the Moto Z3, which is the second and last release of the series this year. The Moto Z3 was launched weeks after the Moto Z3 Play was unveiled. The announcement of the smartphone came with bad news as the company said it would be the last Moto Z release of the year. This confirmed the rumors that the Moto Z3 Force variant was going to be left out. The Force edition had a release for the Moto Z and Moto Z2 but Motorola has decided to cut the lineup to two for 2018.

Its been confirmed that the Moto Z3 smartphone will start selling at Verizon on August 16. The announcement also came with the launch of the 5G Moto Mod, which had also been rumored for many weeks.

Samsung Galaxy Note 9

The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will be one of the biggest launches this month. The flagship smartphone has appeared in leaked videos and was recently spotted in the hands of a Samsung official. The Note 9 has been the center of rumors for quite a while and the tech world is now just waiting for the company to officially announce it.

The Galaxy Note 9 will be launching on August 9. The smartphone is said to be a minor upgrade from the 2017 release. A report recently mentioned that the phone will have a whopping 512GB of internal storage. Battle royale game Fortnite is also rumored to be launching on Android with the Note 9.
