NFL Week 6: Results & More

Week 6 has been quite entertaining so far as we have seen good matches and surprising results. The week will close with a matchup between the Packers and 49ers later today. Here we have the results for the games on Sunday:

Eagles 34 – 13 Giants

Week 6 kicked off with a game between division rivals Eagles and Giants. The Eagles came into this game needing a win to keep the division close and they got it. The loss dropped the Giants to 1 – 5 in the season.

Falcons 34 – 29 Buccaneers

The Falcons left with a close win against the Buccaneers, a team that has now dropped its last three games. Atlanta remains last in the NFC South with a 2 – 4 record while Tampa Bay is 2 – 3.

Jets 42 – 34 Colts

The Jets kept the division close with a huge victory against the Colts. The win puts the Jets in third, a game behind the Patriots and Dolphins. The Colts are now last in the AFC South with a 1 – 5 record.

Chargers 38 – 14 Browns

The Browns were looking to continue their solid start to the season but the Chargers scored 38 points to take the win and land in second in the AFC West. The Chargers have now won three straight while the Browns are now 2 – 3 – 1 in the season.

Redskins 23 – 17 Panthers

Washington kept its lead in the NFC East by holding to a 23 – 17 victory against the Panthers. Carolina made a late run but the offense could not score to tie the game.

Seahawks 27 – 3 Raiders

The Raiders continued their disappointing season with a 27 – 3 loss against the Seahawks. The win puts Seattle at 3 – 3, three games behind the division leading Rams. The Raiders are now 1 – 5 in the season.

Vikings 27 – 17 Cardinals

The Vikings have now won two in a row after defeating the Cardinals 27 – 17. The win ties the Vikings with the Bears at the top of the NFC North. The Cardinals are last in their division with a 1 – 5 record.

Texans 20 – 13 Bills

The Texans are now back in the AFC South race after defeating the Bills 20 – 13. Houston lost its first three games but has now won three in a row. The Titans and Jaguars have dropped two straight, tying the three for first in the AFC South.

Dolphins 31 – 28 Bears

The Dolphins bounced back from two straight losses with a win against the Bears. Miami is now tied with New England for first in the AFC East.

Steelers 28 – 21 Bengals

The Steelers have now won two straight after defeating division rival Bengals. It is the second loss of the season for the Bengals, who still lead the division along with the Ravens.

Ravens 21 – 0 Titans

The Ravens defense held the Tennessee Titans to zero points in this game. The Titans have now dropped two straight games after a solid start. The Ravens defense has allowed just 77 points this season.

Rams 23 – 20 Broncos

The Rams continued their perfect run after a 23 – 20 win against the Broncos. The loss dropped the Broncos to third in the division while the Rams lead the NFC West by three games.

Patriots 43 – 40 Chiefs

One of the best games of the week was the Patriots vs. Chiefs. The game went back and forth, with touchdowns from Brady on the ground and amazing runs by Hill and Hunt. It is the first loss of the season for the Chiefs but they still lead the division by one game.

Cowboys 40 – 7 Jaguars

The big surprise of the week was the Cowboys, who put up 40 points against one of the best defenses in the league. The Jaguars offense could not get anything going and scored just seven points. The Jaguars have now dropped two straight games.
