NFL Week 13: Results & More

Week 13 was the week of surprising results, with the Cowboys, Cardinals and Giants all leaving with a win. Here is every result from Week 13, which ends later today with the MNF game between the Eagles and Redskins.

Cowboys 13 – 10 Saints

Thursday Night Football kicked off with a huge surprise from the Cowboys. Dallas took the lead early and the Saints never got anything going. New Orleans eventually scored ten points to get close and have the chance to win. Late in the game, Brees threw an interception that sealed the game.

Giants 30 – 27 Bears

The Bears lost against the Giants without their starting quarterback but the good news for them is that everyone else in the NFC North also lost. The win improves the Giants to 4 – 8 in the season, last in the NFC East.

Jaguars 6 – 0 Colts

The Colts were held to 0 points after weeks and weeks of winning. The Jaguars ended a long losing streak but they remain last in the AFC South.

Cardinals 20 – 17 Packers

One of the big surprises of the week was the Packers losing to the Cardinals. The Packers were already in danger of missing the playoffs and this loss is no good for them. After the game, it was reported that head coach Mike McCarthy was fired. McCarthy was head coach of the Packers from 2006 to 2018 and won one Super Bowl with the team.

Texans 29 – 13 Browns

The Texans continued their winning streak with a comfortable victory over the Browns. Houston has now won nine straight after starting the season 0 – 3. The Browns dropped to 4 – 7 – 1 in the season.

Buccaneers 24 – 17 Panthers

The Panthers continue losing, this time it was against division rival Buccaneers. Carolina has now dropped its last four games, leaving them in second in the NFC South. The Buccaneers took third place in the division with the win.

Broncos 24 – 10 Bengals

The Broncos improved to 6 – 6 following a win over the Bengals. Denver has now won three straight but the only problem for them is that the Chiefs and Chargers, first and second in the division, are 10 – 2 and 9 – 3 in the season.

Dolphins 21 – 17 Bills

The Dolphins went back to .500 after a close victory against the Bills. Miami is 6 – 6 in the season, three games back from the division leading Patriots. The Bills are 4 – 8, third in the AFC East.

Rams 30 – 16 Lions

The Rams improved to 11 – 1 in the season with a victory over the Lions. Los Angeles has won three straight after that loss to New Orleans. The Lions have lost their last two games.

Ravens 26 – 16 Falcons

The Ravens continued their solid run with Jackson as quarterback after a 26 – 16 victory over the Falcons. Atlanta has lost four straight while Baltimore has won three straight.

Chiefs 40 – 33 Raiders

The Chiefs went into this game without Kareem Hunt, who was released a few days ago over an incident with a woman earlier this year. The Chiefs went on to score 40 points and get the win over the Raiders.

Titans 26 – 22 Jets

The Titans bounced back from last week’s loss with a close victory over the 3 – 9 Jets. Tennessee improved to 6 – 6 in the season.

Seahawks 43 – 16 49ers

The Seahawks are on a three game win streak following the victory over the 49ers, who are 2 – 10 in the season. Seattle is three games back from Los Angeles in the NFC West.

Patriots 24 – 10 Vikings

The Patriots are 9 – 3 following a victory over the Vikings, who continue to be two games behind the Bears for the NFC North. Tom Brady reached 1,000 rushing yards for his career during this game.

Chargers 33 – 30 Steelers

The Steelers appeared to be on their way to a victory but the Chargers bounced back late in the game to take the win. Antonio Brown and Keenan Allen each had monster games, finishing with over 140 yards and a touchdown.
