NFL Week 14: Results & More

Titans 30 – 9 Jaguars

The Titans ran all over the Jaguars defense, which continues to disappoint. Henry had over 200 yards, including a monster run that was easily one of the most impressive plays of the week.

Browns 26 – 20 Panthers

The Browns improved to 5 – 7 – 1 in the season after a close win against the Panthers. Carolina has now dropped its last five games but they remain in the wild card hunt along with the Eagles, Seahawks and Vikings.

Colts 24 – 21 Texans

The Colts snapped a 9 game Texans winning streak on Sunday. The win by Indianapolis puts them two games behind Houston with three games to go in the season.

Chiefs 27 – 24 Ravens

The Chiefs won a close one against the Ravens, who have been solid with Jackson as quarterback. The good news for the Ravens is that the Steelers also lost on Sunday, keeping them just one game behind. The Chiefs are now 11 – 2 while the Ravens are 7 – 6.

Giants 40 – 16 Redskins

Mark Sanchez started at quarterback and the Redskins could not get anything going. Sanchez threw two interceptions and a total of 38 yards on 14 attempts. He was later replaced by Josh Johnson, who had not thrown a pass in the NFL since 2011. He had 195 yards in 16 attempts. For the Giants, Barkley had 170 rushing yards and a touchdown.

Dolphins 34 – 33 Patriots

It seemed like the Patriots were on their way to another victory against the Dolphins but they were surprised by a walk-off miracle play. The loss dropped the Patriots to 9 – 4 in the season. Miami is 7 – 6.

Packers 34 – 20 Falcons

The Packers defeated the Falcons to avoid falling to last place in the NFC North. The Falcons dropped to 4 – 9 in the season and have lost five straight.

Saints 28 – 14 Buccaneers

The Saints remain in the race for the number one seed after a 28 – 14 victory over the Bucs. Tampa Bay dropped to 5 – 8 in the season.

Jets 27 – 23 Bills

The Jets defeated the Bills in a close game. The two are now 4 – 9 in the season but the Bills are third in the AFC East due to their division record.

Chargers 26 – 21 Bengals

The Chargers keep the pressure on the Chiefs with a win against the Bengals. Los Angeles remains one game behind Kansas City.

49ers 20 – 14 Broncos

The Broncos were looking to go over .500 in the season but they could not get it going against the 49ers. It is just the third win of the season for San Francisco, a team that is tied with several others for the worst record in the league.

Cowboys 29 – 23 Eagles

The Cowboys and Eagles played for the top of the division and it was Dallas who won in overtime. The game was all about defense early on but things took an interesting turn late in the fourth quarter. Cooper had two huge touchdowns but the Eagles offense responded with big plays of their own. Dallas got the ball in overtime and scored a touchdown to take a two game lead in the NFC East.

Lions 17 – 3 Cardinals

The Lions are 5 – 8 in the season after holding the Cardinals to just three points. Arizona could not get anything going in this game and they have dropped to 3 -10 in the season. The Lions remain last in the NFC North.

Raiders 24 – 21 Steelers

The Raiders took a victory over the Steelers, putting them in serious danger of losing the AFC North lead. The Steelers have now dropped three straight games after looking like a candidate for the number one or two seed.

Bears 15 – 6 Rams

The Bears are now three games up on the Vikings in the NFC North after a huge victory over the Rams. Chicago’s defense held the powerful Rams offense to just six points. Goff and Trubisky were held to less than 200 passing yards.
