Motorola Announces The Moto G7 Smartphones

Motorola has decided to announce its new smartphones just a few weeks before the start of MWC 2019. For years, the company has released the Moto G smartphones at very low prices. This year, the Moto G7 is no different, launching at similar prices from recent editions. Here are the four Moto G7 smartphones announced just a few hours ago:

Moto G7 Play

The Play version has returned with this year’s Moto G smartphones. This variant first made its debut with the Moto G4 but it has not always been there. The Play was left out of the Moto G5 release but brought back with last year’s Moto G6. Reports had the Play variant being skipped for 2019 but it appears that Motorola had other plans.

The Play version has always been the least powerful of the Moto G releases but its main attraction is its super low price. The Moto G7 Play has a plastic body and is a bit lighter than previous editions. The smartphone does not have a dual camera setup and features a similar camera to the one found on last year’s Moto G6 Play.

The Moto G7 Play has a starting price of $199.

Moto G7

The standard Moto G used to be the most powerful version until the Plus variant arrived. The Moto G7 is in between the Play and Plus versions, offering specs such as a Snapdragon 632 processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The phone does have a 12MP + 5MP camera setup along with an 8MP front camera.

The Moto G7 has a starting price of $299 and it is already available in Mexico and Brazil. It will soon be launched in select markets across Latin America, Europe, Asia and North America.

Moto G7 Power

The Moto G7 Power is a brand new version that offers a much bigger battery. Its specs are quite similar to the super affordable Moto G7 Play with a Snapdragon 632 processor. The phone does have more RAM (3GB) but the same 32GB internal storage.

The Moto G7 Power’s big feature is its 5,000 mAh battery. Motorola claims that the battery can last up to 60 hours and deliver up to nine hours with a 15-minute charge. The phone has a single rear camera of 12MP and a front camera of 8MP.

The Moto G7 Power has a starting price of $250, which falls right in the middle of the G7 Play and standard G7 prices. The phone was launched earlier today for Mexico and Brazil. Motorola has confirmed that it will come to other markets in the near future.

Moto G7 Plus

The Moto G series has brought the Plus version with recent editions and it is back with the Moto G7. The Moto G7 Plus is the most powerful version out of the four smartphones from Motorola. The phone has features such as a dual 16MP camera setup and quick charge support.

The phone is the most expensive out of the four starting at 300 euros (around $340). This version will be available in select markets, including Brazil and Mexico.
