PewDiePie Plays Fortnite To Stop T-Series From Taking Number One Spot

Swedish YouTuber PewDiePie has done everything to slow down music channel T-Series. The famous YouTuber has made several videos on the race for the most subscribers. He recently posted a diss track on T-Series but nothing has really slowed down the music channel.

T-Series continues to grow at a quick pace and in the last few days the channel has gotten very close to getting the most subscribers on the video site. PewDiePie has kept the most subscribed spot for a while and he has managed to get some space from the music channel every time it gets close.

For months, we’ve seen the music channel come just a few hundred thousand subscribers from taking the number one spot. In the last few days, the channel has grown much quicker than PewDiePie’s and it seems like this time it will take the most subscribed spot.

The channels are only a few thousand subscribers apart and the Swedish YouTuber has had no choice but to come up with anything that will help him stay at the top. His latest attempt is playing Fortnite, which is one of the most popular games right now.

On Sunday, PewDiePie held a live stream to play squad matches on the battle royale game. Felix doesn’t appear to be super happy about playing the battle royale game but goes on to explain that he is going to have to pull out the big guns, the artillery.

Fortnite Live Stream

The live stream, which lasted over one hour and twenty minutes, shows the Swedish YouTuber playing many squad matches. The video was a pretty successful upload for him, getting over seven million views in a day.

According to FlareTV’s YouTube channel, which has a video tracking both of their subscriber counts, the Swedish YouTuber is only 112,000 subscribers ahead of T-Series. That number was much higher a few days ago, meaning the music channel has cut the lead in a short amount of time. Both channels are on their way to 84 million subscribers.

PewDiePie has seen support from many YouTubers on this race but T-Series continues to receive insane numbers on most of its uploads. The channel posts several videos each day and many of them see millions of views in hours or days.

Great Run

PewDiePie has been the most subscribed YouTube channel for years. The channel, which includes reaction, gaming and diss track videos, has set many records along the way. Felix continues to rack up millions of views on his videos but T-Series is having even better numbers. No other channel had really challenged PewDiePie in recent years. The third and fourth spot on the most subscribed list are not even close to PewDiePie and T-Series.

The Swedish YouTuber holds the spot but it seems like it is just a matter of time before T-Series becomes the new king of YouTube.
