WWE Fastlane (2019) – Results and More

WWE Fastlane was full of twists and interesting endings to its matches. The WWE PPV, which took place on Sunday, was the last event before Wrestlemania 35. Here are the results and more for WWE Fastlane (2019):

Rusev and Nakamura vs. The New Day

The New Day defeated Rusev and Nakamura during the kickoff show. Their third member, Kofi, was waiting for the title match but that never happened.

The Usos vs. Shane and The Miz

The Usos retained their titles after a solid match against The Miz. Shane and The Miz were close to regaining the titles but The Usos held on. The Miz’s father was in the stands and watched when Shane attacked The Miz.

The Bar vs. Kofi Kingston

The New Day met with Vince McMahon and were told that Kofi would be in a triple threat match. That changed when he entered the ring and found out that it was a handicap match against The Bar. Kofi lost and missed the title match.


Sasha and Bayley vs. Tamina and Nia Jax

Sasha and Bayley are still the champions after a tough battle against Tamina and Nia Jax. It is the first time that the tag team champions defend the new titles in a PPV.

Daniel Bryan vs. Kevin Owens vs. Mustafa Ali

Daniel Bryan went up against Kevin Owens and the replacement of Kofi, Mustafa Ali. Bryan, who got the help of Erick Rowan, retained the title and is one step closer to entering Wrestlemania as the WWE Champion.

Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair

Becky Lynch and Charlotte went at it again but the match ended in a DQ after Ronda Rousey stepped in and attacked Becky. The attack gave Becky the win and the opportunity to be in the match at Wrestlemania.

The Revival vs. Roode and Gable vs. Ricochet and Aleister Black

The Revival retained their titles after a tough match against the former champs and two NXT superstars. The champions were left alone in the ring against Gable and had enough time to hit their finisher and get the three count. After the match, Ricochet and Black came back to the ring to attack the champions, who were attacking the participants after the win.

Asuka vs. Mandy Rose

Asuka battled Mandy Rose but it was Sonya who accidentally helped the champion pick up the win. Mandy Rose gained some momentum late in the match but was tripped and distracted by the apron, which had been left up by Sonya when she took out a weapon from under the ring.

Samoa Joe vs. R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio vs. Andrade

Rey and Andrade was scheduled for the kickoff but that was changed during the event. The match saw Rey and others nearly get the win. But Joe was able to get a submission hold on Rey for the win.

The Shield vs. Lashley, Corbin and McIntyre

The Shield returned last night in a battle against three top superstars of the WWE Raw roster. The match saw members of The Shield and their opponents take the battle outside of the ring. In the end, Lashley and McIntyre were left outside of the ring while Corbin was all alone with The Shield. They hit their finishers and won the match.
