WWE WrestleMania 35 is less than three weeks away but the company has already confirmed many of the matches that will be part of the big event. The event, which will feature the first ever women’s main event at WrestleMania, has ten confirmed matches so far. Here are the matches:
Asuka vs. TBD
Asuka’s opponent at WrestleMania 35 will be decided in a fatal four way match in the next episode of WWE SmackDown. The match will feature Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Naomi and Carmella.
Triple H vs. Batista
Batista returned to WWE in a shocking segment in which he attacked Ric Flair. Triple H later demanded answers on the attack and Batista asked for a WrestleMania match. Triple H accepted the match, which will be the second between the two at WrestleMania. The first was on the 21st edition and that was won by Batista.
Samoa Joe vs. Rey Mysterio
Samoa Joe defeated Rey Mysterio and two other superstars at WWE Fastlane. On the SmackDown episode two days after the PPV, Mysterio got a pinfall win against the US Champion. A match between the two was later scheduled for WrestleMania 35.
Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal was confirmed earlier this month when Braun Strowman announced his participation in the match. Strowman is currently the only superstar that’s been confirmed for the match, which has previously been won by superstars such as Mojo Rawley, Matt Hardy and Cesaro.
AJ Styles vs. Randy Orton
This feud began at Elimination Chamber and escalated when Styles hit Orton with a Phenomenal Forearm during a segment at Fastlane. Styles later challenged Orton to a match at Wrestlemania 35.
Kurt Angle vs. Baron Corbin
Kurt Angle announced that he would be having his farewell match at WresteMania 35. On the following episode, he announced that he would be facing Corbin in that match. Angle explained that Corbin is his opponent because of what he did when he was the general manager of Raw.
Buddy Murphy vs. Tony Nese
Tony Nese won a WWE Cruiserweight Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament in which he faced three superstars. His first win came against Kalisto and that was followed by a win against Drew Gulak. The final of the tournament was between Cedric Alexander and Tony Nese, who won by pinfall and secured his title opportunity at WrestleMania 35.
Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins chose to face Brock Lesnar shortly after winning this year’s Royal Rumble. Rollins has faced Lesnar in the past but this time it will be for the WWE Universal Championship.
Ronda Rousey vs. Becky Lynch vs. Charlotte Flair
Ronda Rousey will be facing Becky and Charlotte in a triple threat match. Charlotte was added to the match when Becky was suspended but the former SmackDown Women’s champion was later added back when Rousey interfered at Fastlane.
Shane McMahon vs. The Miz
The two will be meeting one on one after Shane decided to split up the team. The former WWE SmackDown tag team champions broke up at WWE Fastlane when Shane attacked The Miz after the match.
WWE WrestleMania 35 has ten matches so far but at least one more might be added today. Drew McIntyre has challenged Roman Reigns to a match at WrestleMania 35 and the Big Dog is expected to answer to that challenge on WWE Raw later today. On Tuesday, we’ll also find out who will face WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Asuka.
