EA’s subscription service, EA Play, is now available at a very very low price for new members. The service, available for platforms such as the Xbox and PlayStation, got the price drop just hours ago. The deal will be available for all new members until Sept. 30.
The service has done this in the past, even when it was called EA Access. Back then, the one month subscriptions were also available for that price, allowing new members to check out and see if the service is something they want to keep.
EA Play is a subscription service that’s been around for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation for years. The service, which usually has a price of $4.99 for a one month subscription, offers a number of things for its members. The main highlight is the lineup of games that members can download for free.
The Xbox, PlayStation, and PC all offer a number of games. The lineup is somewhat limited on the PS4 since the service has only been around for a couple of years on that platform. But there are some really good games in there, including Unravel, Star Wars Squadrons, and many of the Need for Speed titles. EA Play recently added some of Codemasters titles as well, including Dirt 5 and F1 2020. They arrived to the service after EA completed the acquisition of the studio earlier this year. EA Play also offers members the opportunity to download a ten hour trial of new games.
You can check out the list of games available on the platforms on the official EA Play website. The deal ends on Sept. 30.
