One Sole Before Shark Tank

One Sole is the brain-child of female entrepreneur Dominique McClain Barteet. One Sole is the original interchangeable shoe. Having started her career as a Pharmacist, Dominique like so many other women around the world found herself buying the same pair of shoes in various different colors. She began to think there must be an easier way to interchange colors and styles on the same pair of shoes.

Dominique began to experiment with this idea in the back room of her pharmacy. Through pure trial and error Dominique developed the idea of One Sole having absolutely no prior experience in the design of shoes or in the business world. Perseverance paid off for Dominique when she managed to create the One Sole brand which is now known for its versatility allowing one to interchange part of the shoe.

Dominique also liked the fact that by creating One Sole, she has ultimately created the perfect travelling shoe for women around the world! Instead of loading up your luggage with numerous pairs of shoes, One Sole is the perfect solution.

Dominique felt that she could use some help to take One Sole to the next level and really break the market. She went into the tank with the hope that one of the sharks would invest in her company. Not only would the sharks provide some extra capital for her to expand One Sole, they would bring their business expertise as well as key relationships with retailers to the business. Will One Sole be a hit with the sharks?

One Sole On Shark Tank

Dominique enters and begins by talking about herself and her company, One Sole. She informs the sharks that she is looking for an investment of $500,000 for a twenty per cent share in the company. She goes on to say that she loves shoes; what woman doesn’t? She then went on to tell the sharks about the day she went to the mall and came home with the exact same pair of she’s in three different colors. This prompted her to start thinking of the possibility of shoes with interchangeable tops. She demonstrates just how simple it is to interchange the tops of the shoes to create a completely new look in seconds. Further to that, Dominique traveled a lot and used to bring a whole suitcase of shoes with her on her. Since she invented One Sole, she has been travelling a lot lighter. Dominique doesn’t even pack shoes now. She wears her One Sole shoes, packs a handful of interchangeable tops and saves on space AND baggage fees.

Dominique then asks Barbara if she would like to try the One Sole shoes as comfort is a feature the company prides itself in to which Barbara replies that it is perfect timing as her feet are killing her.

Kevin Harrington starts off the questions and asks Dominique what the retail price of the shoe is. Dominique explains that the retail price for the One Sole shoe and a solid top is between seventy to eighty-five dollars. The interchangeable tops are separate and the retail price for those range from twelve to thirty dollars.

Barbara claims that the shoes are ‘heaven’ and asks can she wear them for the remainder of the day. The other sharks are interested to see how comfortable they are to which Barbara replies there is no doubt about the comfort element of the One Sole shoes.

One Sole founder Dominique brings her product to the Shark Tank

Kevin O’Leary thinks the One Sole shoes are interesting but questions her valuation of $2.5 million on the company. Dominique goes on to shock the sharks by announcing that she has had gross sales of over $20 million in the last four years. Further to that the One Sole shoes are in two thousand stores in over thirty countries and the shoes have been on several television shopping channels. Kevin O’Leary asks about sales for the previous year. Dominique replies sales were only $3.5 million last year, a low figure in comparison to the $6 million achieved the year before that. The sharks are interested to know where the shoes are made. Dominique informs them that the mold for the shoes are made in Italy and the interchangeable tops are made in Florida. Kevin O’Leary then asks about the possibility of making the interchangeable tops offshore as the price would be much lower and Dominique explains that is exactly why she is there. She does not have the contacts to do so and the current manufacturer of the interchangeable tops is not able to create more complicated designs that she has come up with.

Daymond asks how exactly Dominique has been financing this business venture and it is then she tells the sharks that initially this started as a hobby back when she was practicing as a pharmacist. What with the success of One Sole, within two years Dominique moved her pharmacy into her shoe factory. The sharks are amazed to hear that Dominique is still acting as a pharmacist and managing to turn over profits of about thirty per cent of her gross sales.

Robert is slightly confused as to why Dominique needs the extra money seeing as her profits her approximately $1 million the previous year. Dominique explains that she bought a house in Palm Beach some years previous and that has tied up a lot of her capital.

The sharks acknowledge that Dominique is selling herself short when she claims to be in over her head. Although she has never had a class in business or shoe design, she has a very success company on her hands but is looking for a business partner and the reassurance that will go with having one.

This year the business has gone international and Dominique has people crying out for One Sole shoes everywhere from Australia to Saudi Arabia to Switzerland. She is finding it overwhelming but when Kevin O’Leary asks if she would sell the whole business, Dominique says she would not want to do that.

Robert offers $100,000 for a ten per cent equity share in the company and asks Dominique to persuade the other four sharks to join. That way she would get the $500,000 she asked for but she would be giving up a fifty per cent equity share.

Kevin Harrington claims he likes the product too. Daymond also claims he believes in One Sole as a brand and does not need any partners. He offers Dominique the $500,000 but for a thirty-five per cent equity share in the company.

Barbara says she likes the product but it will take too much of her time so for that reason she declares herself out.

Not wanting to be left out, Kevin O’Leary decides to make an offer. He is willing to give Dominique the $500,000 that she is looking for but wants a whopping fifty-one per cent share in One Sole. Dominique instantly rejects this.

Kevin Harrington looks to join Robert in his offer. Each of them will offer $250,000 for a twenty-five per cent share each. With all the offers now on the table, Dominique takes a moment to consider before accepting Daymond’s offer. Dominique leaves extremely happy to be teaming up with Daymond to take One Sole to the next level.

One Sole Now in 2026 – The After Shark Tank Update

One Sole, the revolutionary interchangeable shoe brand, has come a long way since its appearance on Shark Tank. Dominique Barteet, the founder of One Sole, impressed the Sharks with her innovative concept of a shoe with multiple interchangeable tops, providing consumers with a versatile footwear solution.

Since their appearance on the show, they’ve gone through strategic partnerships, product expansion, and market growth. The brand also successfully leveraged its visibility from the show to attract a wider consumer base. Not only that but they’ve also landed a number of collaborations with various designers and retailers to increase its market footprint.

That’s not all, the company has also made a number of strategic enhancements in its marketing and sales operations.

For one thing, the brand has significantly increased its digital presence and has revamped its website for a more seamless customer experience. It has also expanded its sales channels beyond just online, now featuring in various retail stores nationwide.

One of the key factors contributing to the success of One Sole after Shark Tank is its unwavering commitment to customer satisfaction. The company has focused on providing high-quality products without compromising on comfort or style. This commitment is reflected in the positive customer reviews and high repeat purchase rates.

As of 2026, One Sole is still in business and offers a broad variety of styles and designs to cater to different customer preferences.

If anything, One Sole’s journey after Shark Tank is a testament to the power of innovation backed by strategic execution. The brand has effectively leveraged the platform provided by the show to scale its operations and carve a niche for itself in the competitive footwear market.

Despite the challenges it faced initially, One Sole’s perseverance and determination have paid off, marking it as a success story in the world of entrepreneurial ventures.

The post One Sole 2026 Update- What Happened After Shark Tank appeared first on Gazette Review.

Glacé Cryotherapy Before Shark Tank

Glacé Cryotherapy is the creation of brother and sister team Skyler Scarlett and Brittany Scarlett-Torres. Cryotherapy has been growing in popularity over the past few years with it being used frequently in Japan, in Europe and now in the United States. Whole body cryotherapy involves the body being immersed in a large container that is pumped full of liquid nitrogen. Cryotherapy is being used more and more by athletes to help aid in the reduction of pain and inflammation. The point of the process is to lower the body temperature so that blood flows to the body’s core. Here it becomes highly oxygenated and is filled with nutrients. When the cryotherapy session is complete and the body warms up once again, the blood flows back to the extremities of the body.

To put it in simple terms, Glacé Cryotherapy is basically like an ice pack being applied to the entire body. Skyler started to notice that cryotherapy was being used more and more in the health and fitness industry and he saw a gap in the market for such a service. And so Glacé Spa was founded.

At Glacé Spa, you remove your clothes and put on a special robe before stepping into the cryosauna. People who have part taken in cryotherapy have reported improved sleep, reduction in pain and inflammation, increased energy and even better mood. Overall the benefits seem to be great so it is no surprise that Glacé Cryotherapy has been experiencing success. Almost anyone can use the cryotherapy service provided by Glacé Cryotherapy except for pregnant women and those with heart disease or high blood pressure.

In order to continue the success of Glacé Cryotherapy, Skyler and Brittany decided to take their company to the shark tank in the hope that one of the sharks would provide some extra revenue as well as the business expertise that can help the duo become an even bigger success. What will the sharks think of Glacé Cryotherapy? Will Skyler and Brittany play it cool and get their deal?

Glacé Cryotherapy On Shark Tank:

Skyler and Brittany enter the shark tank, introduce themselves to the shark and claim that they are looking for a $100,000 investment in return for a fifteen per cent equity share in their company. Brittany goes on to explain the concept of whole body cryotherapy to the sharks and the duo’s helper kindly demonstrates by stepping inside the cryosauna. Just three minutes of the liquid nitrogen circulating around your body can improve inflammation, reduce pain and help overall well being. Skyler makes the point to the sharks that people who have used continuous cryotherapy sessions have reduced their need for medication, another one of the many benefits of Glacé Cryotherapy. Brittany then addresses Robert and asks if he would be interesting in trying out the cryosauna as the duo know he is a big sport’s guy. Robert agrees and goes to put on the robe in preparation for his session in the cryosauna. The other sharks look on amused while Robert is in the cryosauna. A very cold Robert emerges from the cryosauna as Skyler and Brittany continue to list the benefits of Glacé Cryotherapy to the other sharks.

Mark in the cryosauna

Lori is interested to know how the extremely cold liquid nitrogen does not burn your skin. Skyler explains that the key is to never stay in the cryosauna for no longer than three minutes. Robert returns fully clothed and admits that although it was extremely cold, he feels great. Kevin asks or Robert’s take on the whole experience. Robert explains that it started out fine and it got really cold all of a sudden. Mark wants to know if there is a successful business behind this. Skyler explains that himself and Brittany started Glacé Cryotherapy eleven months previous and since then they have made $150,000 in profit. Lori asks about what sort of expenses this business has incurred. Brittany explains that their overheads are about $3200 per month. They have a premises for the spa so the only other additional cost is the nitrogen gas. Robert explains that all the dancers from ‘Dancing with the Stars’ use cryotherapy and Mark tells how the Texas Mavericks have been using cryotherapy for the past five years.

Kevin wants to know what is stopping anyone just buying a container of nitrogen gas to set up a company like this one. Skyler admits that there is nothing stopping Kevin doing that. Mark asks the duo why exactly they have come to the shark tank and Skyler explains that they would love to open another Glacé Cryotherapy branch in San Francisco.

Barbara wants to know how much one machine costs to which Skyler replies it costs $55,000. The sharks are amazed that the cryotherapy machines are so expensive. Kevin states that he does not think it is worth giving the duo the $100,000 for just fifteen per cent of the company when he could go out and buy a cryotherapy machine and hire people to run a business of which he would own one hundred per cent. Brittany defends Glacé Cryotherapy stating that they have the best practice.

Lori wants to know about the cost of one cryotherapy session to which Brittany replies that one session would normally cost $65 however there are special monthly membership prices available. Lori wants to know how many times you need to go to see a result and Brittany explains that people can go anything from once a week to five times a week.

Kevin does not agree that Glacé Cryotherapy is unique in the market and claims he could set up a business just like this all by himself. For that reason, he declares himself out.

Mark points out the problem he sees with Glacé Cryotherapy. He claims that to run a successful business that provides a service will be extremely difficult as there are only two of them providing the great service. Unfortunately for Mark, that is too large of a hurdle for him to overcome as a potential investor. For that reason, he also declares himself out.

Robert likes the service but does not feel like Skyler and Brittany came out with a good game plan to get Glacé Cryotherapy out there as a business. For that reason, he also declares himself out.

Lori think

Barbara joins the Glacé Cryotherapy team

s it is very interesting and she loves the science behind it. She acknowledges that it is a great business but unfortunately does not think that it is an invest-able business for her so for that reason, she declares herself out.

That just leaves Barbara, Glacé Cryotherapy’s last hope at getting a deal. Barbara claims that she cannot believe that none of the other sharks have pounced on the idea. Barbara loves the fat that you make money from the beginning. She claims it is the ultimate ploy for a potential franchisee. Barbara claims she can build Glacé Cryotherapy into a million-dollar business in the first year as she knows exactly how to do that. She makes an offer of $100,000 but for a thirty per cent equity share of the company. After a moment of deliberation between themselves, Brittany and Skyler agree to take Barbara’s deal. The duo embrace Barbara in celebration and leave the shark tank extremely happy that they have secured a deal.

Glacé Cryotherapy Now in 2026 – The After Shark Tank Update

Glacé Cryotherapy made waves in the health and fitness industry after their appearance on Shark Tank. While the siblings didn’t score a deal with one of the sharks, they certainly gained invaluable exposure.

They also focused on expansion and development post their TV appearance. Before long, they had opened new branches across multiple states in the US, earning positive reviews from customers praising not only the cryotherapy treatments but also the professional and friendly service.

Not only that but Glacé Cryotherapy also upgraded their technology to improve their services. More specifically, they incorporated modern cryo-chambers and localized cryotherapy units into their practice.

The company has also launched its signature skincare line – Glacé Skin, which combines the benefits of cryotherapy with skincare.

However, Glacé Cryotherapy faced a major challenge in 2017 when a lawsuit was filed against them, alleging that their treatments led to a user’s injury. Not long afterward, all four of their locations went out of business.

As far as we can tell, however, Skyler still works as a consultant in 2026 for the cryotherapy industry.

The post Glacé Cryotherapy 2026 Update – What Happened After Shark Tank appeared first on Gazette Review.

Pink Shutter Photobooths Before Shark Tank

Friends turned entrepreneurs Lance Yabut and Tom Kanemoto are the creators of Pink Shutter Photobooths, a photobooth rental business based in both California and Las Vegas. Photobooth rental has become highly popular for weddings, parties and many other celebratory events. The duo took advantage of the gap for such a service in the market and created Pink Shutter Photobooths. When someone rents one of the Pink Shutter Photobooths, a Pink Shutter Photobooth technician will arrive at the event to set up the temporary photobooth. Each Pink Shutter Photobooth is props for guests to use in their photographs and a high-speed photograph printer so each guest can take home a copy of the photos that they take.

In order to get their company out onto a broader market, Lance and Tom decided to venture into the shark tank. They were in search of additional financial funding that could help expand the business as well as the business expertise the sharks could provide to grow Pink Shutter Photobooths. Will the sharks bite and invest in this growing trend?

Lance and Tom explain that they are looking for an investment of $300,000 and would give a share in their company, Pink Shutter Photobooths. Lance goes on to explain that they have taken the fun of the ‘old-fashioned’ photobooths and created something new that can revolutionize the industry. Further to that, it is the perfect addition to any party, celebration or event if you’re looking for a bit of fun or if you want a nice family photo to tale home at the end of the night. The props that are available in each of the Pink Shutter Photobooths make it interesting and get a smile from the whole family. Tom goes on to explain that the technology used in the Pink Shutter Photobooths is some of the best technology you could find and furthermore, the Pink Shutter Photobooths are spacious and comfortable to make the experience even more enjoyable. The guests who use the Pink Shutter Photobooths get a copy of their photos to take home as a token of their night and the organizer of the party gets a copy of all the photos too ensuring they have fantastic memories from the event. Lance and Tom finish up their pitch by inviting the sharks to come on down, pick a prop and try out the Pink Shutter Photobooths for themselves.

All the sharks eagerly leave their seats to examine the various props that Lance and Tom have brought with them to the shark tank. Kevin quite aptly picks a shark prop which he places on his head. All five sharks squeeze into the Pink Shutter Photobooth with various props and take some hilarious photographs. They receive a copy of the photographs that they have taken before returning to their seats and getting down to business.

Mr. Wonderful brings them all back to reality by opening the questions and asking Lance and Tom to talk the sharks through the business model. Lance explains that the business model is a corporate model. The duo owns and distributes all of the photobooths in various locations. So far they are based in Las Vegas, Sacramento, San Francisco and San Diego. Kevin wants to know a bit more and asks if Lance and Tom own all the equipment that cones with each of the Pink Shutter Photobooths. Lance explains that they own all assets. Robert is interested to hear just how big financially this business is today. Tom explains that in their first fiscal year, they took in approximately $195,000. Lance and Tom are currently in their second fiscal year and in the first quarter have earned $135,000 already. Although these figures are quite impressive, Mark is very quick to point out that photobooths are ancient. He wants to know what exactly makes Pink Shutter Photobooths stand out from the crowd? Lance explains that there is one main factor that makes Pink Shutter Photobooths completely different from any similar competitors on the market. They have cut the overhead costs for companies because of the huge setup involved in many photobooths on the market. Lance explains that it costs about $3500 in equipment and $500 in labor to build the Pink Shutter Photobooths.

Robert is interested to know how the pair of entrepreneurs are drumming up the business and getting their name out there as the best on the market. Lance goes on to explain that they have strategic partnerships set up with the two massive websites – Living Social and Group-on.

Upon hearing this, Daymond wants to know if there are any competitors out there doing exactly what Pink Shutter Photobooths is doing. Lance admits that there are a few competitors out there to which Daymond asks why people would choose Pink Shutter Photobooths over a competitor. At this point it seems that Mr. Wonderful has heard enough. Kevin does not believe that the company is worth $3 million as he does not think that anything about Pink Shutter Photobooths is proprietary. Kevin sums up that the valuation the duo has put on Oink Shutter Photobooths is a joke before declaring himself out.

Lance is desperate to convey to the sharks that they are making money and the company is a successful one. Lance goes on to talk about the profit they will make this year and Robert quickly interjects asking why they need the financial investment from the sharks. Lance admits that they do not need the money. At this point Barbara says she will be a partner saying: “No money, no problem”. Lance explains that they are looking for strategic introductions and the relationships the shark have to get Pink Shutter Photobooths out on to a broader market.

Daymond asks if they duo takes a salary to which Lance replies he is currently taking a salary. When Daymond asks how much, the sharks are surprised to hear that he is taking a salary of $99,000. Upon hearing this, Daymond wants to know exactly how much Tom plans on taking as a salary for himself. He is unwilling to commit to a figure, however Daymond pushes him for an answer. Tom admits that he would more than likely pay himself the same salary as Lance.

While Mark does not believe there is anything wrong with taking such a large salary from the company, he feels like there is massive room for other similar companies to come in and undercut them. For this reason, he declares himself out.

The fact that Lance and Tom are taking such large salaries still does not sit well with Daymond. He also thinks that they are looking for a large investment and feels hard done by that they would take two thirds of this to pay themselves. For that reason, he also declares himself out.

Robert acknowledges the fact that Lance is a great hustler before admitting that he does not have the time to commit to such an investment. Lance tries desperately to dissuade Robert from declaring himself out by saying that all they need is thirty minutes per week. Robert cannot be persuaded and declares himself out.

This leaves just Barbara left. Will she invest and save the day for Pink Shutter Photobooths? Barbara says she believes everything Lance is saying and she also thinks that the duo has a good thing going on. However, she also thinks the valuation of the company is far too high. For that reason, she decides to offer the duo the $300,000 in return for a thirty-three per cent equity share in the company. She also makes the point that when the salaries are paid, she wants her salary of $100,000 too.

The other sharks are intrigued at Barbara’s offer and Mark is clearly toying with the idea of declaring himself back in. Barbara being Barbara, is unwilling to wait around and puts pressure on Lance and Tom to decide.

After much deliberation, Lance and Tom accept Barbara’s deal

Mark offers the same as Barbara except would not take an equal salary until the sales of Pink Shutter Photobooths hit $1 million. The duo need some time to think both offers over and go away to consider. Lance and Tom come back with a proposal for the sharks. They ask if Barbara and Mark would be willing to team up and invest without the offer of a salary. Lance also states that they only want to give away a twenty-five per cent equity share of the company. Neither Barbara nor Mark are willing to accept a smaller equity share of the company. Mark decides to make it easy. He does not think Lance and Tom are definitive enough and he declares himself out for a second time.

After a moment of consideration, Lance and Tom agree to accept Barbara’s offer. Another successful deal to come out of the shark tank.

Pink Shutter Photobooths Now in 2026 – The After Shark Tank Update

Pink Shutter Photobooths made waves in the events industry after their appearance on Shark Tank. Their high-quality, easy-to-use booths, coupled with a range of quirky and fun props, proved to be a hit at parties, weddings, corporate events, and more. While the concept of a photo booth isn’t new, Pink Shutter managed to infuse it with such flair and freshness that it feels entirely original.

One of the most exciting updates from Pink Shutter Photobooths is their expansion. They have grown from a local business to a national brand with operations in several major cities across the U.S. This growth has allowed them to bring their unique brand of photo booth fun to more people than ever before.

In addition to their expansion, Pink Shutter Photobooths has also introduced new products and services. They now offer customizable packages that allow clients to tailor their photo booth experience to their specific needs. Whether it’s a themed party or a corporate event, Pink Shutter has something for everyone.

The company has also made strides in integrating technology into their services. They’ve introduced social media sharing features in their booths, allowing guests to instantly upload their photos to various social media platforms. This feature not only adds an element of fun for the guests but also provides additional exposure for the events.

By 2021, they had 10 locations across the United States. Despite their growth, however, they surprised everyone by shutting down their website in 2022, and as of 2026, the URL is no longer active.

InvisiPlug Before Shark Tank:

InvisiPlug was created by entrepreneurs Michael Barzman and Bryan O’Connell. Both men came up with this idea when they were struck with by unappealing regular power adapters look in people’s homes. After some consideration, the duo realized that they could come up with an idea to make an everyday essential blend in with any given interior. And so InvisiPlug was created! Now instead of the bright white power adapters sticking out and gathering unwanted attention, you have the choice of using InvisiPlug – a power adapter that blends in with the natural colors of the floors, walls, baseboards or furniture.

Michael Barzman and Bryan O’Connell created three wood grained colors to choose from ensuring InvisiPlug will find a place in any home. Customers can choose from Light Natural, Medium Cherry or Dark Oak depending on the color of their interiors. As well as being stylish, this is a highly functional product. The two entrepreneurs were adamant they wanted to create a good quality product and so they set out creating two different types of adapter – the standard InvisiPlug is basically the same as the ugly white adapters found in homes everywhere now. There is also an upgraded version of this InvisiPlug with a built-in USB port allowing you to charge devices by just connecting the USB directly into the InvisiPlug. Both Barzman and O’Connell knew they needed some extra business knowledge, expertise and of course added capital. They decided to enter the Shark Tank in the hope one of the sharks would be willing to provide just that. Furthermore, they wanted to build relationships with potential sellers of their product, another reason they wanted a shark on board.

InvisiPlug has three available colors – Light Natural, Medium Cherry or Dark Oak

InvisiPlug in the Shark Tank:

Michael Barzman and Bryan O’Connell enter the shark tank and open the pitch by introducing themselves and informing the sharks that they are seeking a $125,000 for a ten per cent equity share in their company; InvisiPlug. They go on to explain that their product is the very first line of surge protectors designed to seamlessly blend in to the hardwood floors in homes. Considering the product had just been launched prior to entering the shark tank, response has been overwhelming for the duo. Bryan asks the sharks which one of them would like to get into the power business before the pair hand out an InvisiPlug to each of the sharks, showcasing the product in the three available colors. Michael goes on to say that the duo has come to the shark tank today looking for a shark to invest, looking for some shark expertise and looking for the relationships the sharks have in the business world that can help get this product off its feet and surge onto the market.

Kevin O’Leary opens proceedings and begins discussing the product. When Michael and Bryan mention that the product is a niche product Mark Cuban is quick to disagree. He does not like the look of the product and believes if it was more of a high end product it would be much more successful. He swiftly declares himself out.

Barbara admits that she likes the price point of the product. Robert comments that he unfortunately does not see a market for such a product. He claims that most people who buy surge adapters put them in places where they cannot be seen such as behind a desk. Robert admits it blends in better but is not aesthetically pleasing before declaring himself out.

Kevin lets loose on the duo claiming their valuation is ‘beyond insane’ before asking them if they are nuts asking for such a high investment on a product that has made little to no money to date. The duo accepts Kevin’s comments and respect what he has to say. However, Kevin is a lost cause in terms of a potential investment and he declares himself out.

Barbara claims that she likes the product and says she would personally like to buy three dozen from Barzman and O’Connell as such products are common purchases of her husband. Unfortunately, Barbara too agrees with Kevin regarding the valuation of the product. She thinks it’s nuts. She wishes the duo luck before declaring herself out.

This just leaves one shark and one potential investor for Barzman and O’Connell; Lori. She asks the pair how much money they have out into InvisiPlug to date, to which they answer approximately $70,000. The duo go on to explain the real reason they are looking for the investment is an article featuring their product will soon be released in Oprah’s O Magazine. Once Lori hears that, she is instantly impressed. Lori agrees to offer the $125,000 for 10% of the company. She has a stipulation however. She wants a dollar per every unit sold until she makes back the money she initially invested and then she wants fifty cents for everything thereafter. Lori claims the premise for her making such an offer is for protection as the duo don’t have proven sales and it is a big gamble for all parties involved. The duo makes a counter offer to Lori of twenty-five cents per every unit sold which drops to 10 cents in perpetuity when Lori has made back what she has invested. Lori declares she is making one final offer – $125,000 for a ten per cent equity stake in the company. She still wants a dollar per unit sold until her investment has been made back but is willing to drop then to 25 cents in perpetuity. She admits she understands that it is a steep deal but this deal is what she needs to get her on board.

In a surprise turn of events Robert admits that the more Michael and Bryan have been talking, the more impressed he is and it’s looking like he is considering coming back in to make another offer. When Lori questions him he says he will make an offer. He offers a total of the $125,000 they asked for but for an increased equity share of InvisiPlug of twenty-five per cent. However, unlike Lori, he is not looking for any royalties. Michael and Bryan ask Robert if he is at all negotiable and might be willing to reduce the equity stake he is looking for down the twenty per cent. He agrees but only if they close the deal right there, right now. The other sharks look on both interest and amusement. Robert seems eager to close the deal for a twenty per cent equity share but the duo seem baffled as to what the right move for them and InvisiPlug is. They explain to Robert that they would like some time to step back and consider their options and he declares himself out for the second time.

Lori’s final offer for Michael and Bryan

Michael and Bryan recap on Lori’s offer and ask if there is any movement on the 25 cents perpetuity and question the possibility of it being lowered by just five cents more in an effort to show her belief in InvisiPlug as a product. Lori rejects the reduced perpetuity and reminds the pair that she did claim the offer she made was her final offer. They accept this and agree they would like to take it. Michael and Bryan leave the shark tank delighted that they have Lori on board as an investor. Back inside the shark tank, Lori’s fellow sharks commend her on doing such a good deal. A win-win situation for all involved in InvisiPlug!

InvisiPlug Now in 2026 – Update after Shark Tank

Despite not securing a deal in the tank, Invisiplug managed to secure retail deals with significant outlets such as Lowe’s and Home Depot. Their product also became available on Amazon and other online platforms. If anything, it was a major milestone for InvisiPlugi; it signified their resilience and ongoing relevance in an increasingly competitive market.

Then in 2016, they were acquired by Socket Shelf, who purchased the brand and its assets, merging it into their existing product portfolio. This move brought forth a new direction for InvisiPlug, and with the backing of a larger, more established company, it was able to further expand and refine its product range.

Despite the change in ownership, InvisiPlug continued to stay true to its original mission of providing aesthetically pleasing surge protectors that seamlessly blend into various home decors. For a period, the original models were still available for purchase online, while newer versions were introduced to cater to different customer preferences and varied interior designs.

As of 2026, however, it appears that InvisiPlug has been discontinued as the product is no longer available on their official website or major online retailers. While there is no official statement from the company regarding this development, it’s plausible that the company faced financial challenges that led to its discontinuation.

The post InvisiPlug After Shark Tank Update – Now in 2026 appeared first on Gazette Review.

Bee Free Honee Before Shark Tank

Bee Free Honee is the creation of friends turned entrepreneurs, Melissa Elms and Katie Sanchez. Katie Sanchez, a pastry chef, came up with Bee Free Honee completely by chance when one day while trying to make apple jelly it went wrong and she was left with a honey-like substance. Her mistake made her intrigued that there may be a gap on the market for a honey substitute. And do Bee Free Honee was born! Katie spent four years replicating the original mistake she made on that day her apple jelly went wrong, all the while perfecting her Bee Free Honee.

Melissa and Katie are passionate about buying local produce and use only apples from nearby Michigan to make the Bee Free Honee. Further to that, all the packaging for the finished products comes from Minnesota. Melissa and Kate have managed to create a product that can replace natural honey in any recipe. Bee Free Honee is also a lot cheaper than raw honey and for all the vegan and animal lovers out there, this means good news for the world’s declining bee population.

Katie and Melissa were lucky enough to get their Bee Free Honee on to the shelves of Whole Foods Store and other natural food stores all over the United States. Since developing the product, Katie and Melissa have developed five flavors for customers to choose from: Original, Ancho Chile, Mint, Chocolate and “Slippery Elm”.

Although Bee Free Honee was experiencing success on the market, Katie and Melissa decided they needed additional financial help and business expertise to get the product out on to a broader market. Will Bee Free Honee sweeten up the sharks and bag Katie and Melissa an investment?

Bee Free Honee On Shark Tank

Katie and Melissa introduce themselves to the sharks and explain that they are the owners and operators of Bee Free Honee. Melissa goes on to explain they are looking for an investment of $100,000 in return for a ten per cent equity stake in their company. Katie begins the pitch by telling the sharks that it takes over sixty thousand bees to gather enough nectar for a mere one pound of honey. At Bee Free Honee, the busy bees get to take a rest with this honey free substitute. Melissa goes on to tell the sharks that Bee Free Honee contains one hundred per cent plant ingredients. Katie explains that Bee Free Honee is the only alternative honey on the market made from apples. Melissa then invites them individually try some Bee Free Honee. Will this innovative new food product sweeten the sharks up and bag a deal for Melissa and Katie?

Katie and Melissa tell the sharks about Bee Free Honee

The sharks try the product while Katie talks them through the ingredients – American apples, lemon juice and a tiny bit of vegan cane sugar that helps achieve the thick and gloopy texture of the honey substitute. So far the sharks seem impressed and are in agreement that the product tastes good.

Mr. Wonderful shoes the first signs of skepticism and asks why exactly the world needs a honey substitute? Melissa explains that it helps the ever reducing bee population and provides an alternative to those who opt for a vegan diet.

Daymond explains to the duo that he knows a lot about bees having invested in a bee related company during a previous season of shark tank. He is interested to know how the cost of the honey substitute Melissa and Katie have brought to the shark tank compares to the price of honey. Melissa informs Daymond that for them to produce a unit of Bee Free Honee it costs $1.62 with them selling each unit for $5.99. That means quite a saving in comparison to some of the pure honey products on the market.

Barbara is interested to hear about the sales of the company to date. Melissa explains to Barbara that Bee Free Honee has managed to get into nine out of the eleven regions of Whole Foods. Last year they achieved sales of $78,000 in their first year of sales.

Daymond wants to know why the duo thinks that this company is worth one million dollars. Melissa explains that they have been in contact with Costco and they are working on packaging for a mass roll-out into stores all over the United States.

Barbara wants to know if the $100,000 the duo is looking for is enough to roll out the amount of orders that may potentially come in from the partnership with Costco. Melissa and Katie firmly believe it will be enough money to build them a larger kitchen which will in turn provide them with the facilities they need to mass produce Bee Free Honee.

Special guest shark Chris Sacca informs the duo that he has a few restaurants and is interested to hear how the honey substitute stands up in recipes that use honey. Melissa explains that they will be more competitive in price than natural, organic honey or the same price as cheaper honey brands on the market.

Mark loves the concept of saving the bees but Kevin is clearly not impressed nor convinced. Kevin admits that quite frankly he does not get the whole concept of the product. He asks Katie and Melissa how many years they have been involved in the company. Katie explains that the apple jelly she tried to make back in 1999 failed and Bee Free Honee was the result. Kevin is still not impressed so declares himself out.

Barbara likes the product and likes the cause that goes with it. Both Barbara and Mark think they could advertise the ‘save the bees’ element of the product more. At this point Daymond interjects and says if they amend their packaging to state how many bees are saved and give a small donation to a bee related organisation then he would be happy to offer the $100,000 in return for a twenty-five per cent share in the company.

Guest shark Chris also seems very interested. However, he thinks that Melissa and Katie need more than a $100,000 investment. Chris offers $200,000 for a thirty per cent share of the company and reveals that he is happy to let another shark come on board with him.

Upon hearing this, Daymond makes a revised offer of $100,000 for ten percent stake of the company as well as twenty per cent of the online sales. Barbara also wants in as does Mark. Mark and Barbara begin to talk among themselves and come to the conclusion that both themselves and Chris could make a great team of investors for Bee Free Honee. Mark suggests an offer of $210,000 for a thirty per cent equity share of the company meaning himself, Barbara and Chris would each invest $70,000 and they would each receive a ten per cent equity share. After a moment or two of deliberation in which Daymond reminds both Melissa and Katie that his deal is still on the table, the pair decides that the other deal is too good to refuse. Melissa and Katie agree to the deal with Chris, Barbara and Mark much to their delight. Daymond is clearly disappointed and Kevin is still bewildered that such a product received an investment. However,

Bee Free Honee Now In 2026 – The After Shark Tank Update

The deal with Chris, Mark, and Barbara went through and with their help, they were able to continue building and growing the company. For one thing, their investment had allowed them to hire additional staff. Not only that but they had also expanded their production capacity by 600 percent. Around the same time, they also participated in New York’s Fancy Food Show, which gave the company more exposure.

By the end of the year, their products had gotten into Wegmans, Natural Grocers, Sprouts Farmers Market, Whole Foods Market, Brookshires, and other small retailers. Chris Sacca also included the apple-based honee in his Veggie Grill chain while Mark helped them with their Amazon store. On top of that, their products were also available from their official website.

The Bee Free Honee was highly rated on Amazon – it had a 4.5-star rating review out of more than 150 ratings

And for a while, everything was great. Sales were up and customers were happy with the product, with many leaving positive reviews on Amazon. For example, many people praised the product’s texture and flavor as being very similar to honey. The fact that there were different flavors to choose from definitely helped as well.

Like all products, however, it had its downsides. For one thing, it’s much more expensive than real honey at $3.67 per ounce. Not only that but because of the ingredients, it had a strong apple taste, which some people were not a fan of. Some people also wrote that it had a hint of molasses, which sets it apart from actual honey.

Still, the general consensus about the vegan honey was positive. On Amazon, it had a 4.3-star rating out of 155 global reviews.

Many customers, such as this reviewer, felt that the apple-based honey product was expensive

Unfortunately, their success didn’t last long. The company eventually shut down sometime in 2019; their products have also been pulled from the stores. As of 2026, their website no longer exists (interestingly enough, their old domain has been repurposed into a poker website by a different party). Their social media accounts have also been deleted. If not for their Amazon product listing, which has the item listed as “currently unavailable”, it’s almost as if they never existed at all.

What are Melissa and Katie up to nowadays? According to LinkedIn, Melissa currently works as a National Sales Director at One Frozen, LLC. Prior to that, she worked in sales and marketing at Cynara USA Inc. From 2018 to July 2019, she was also the Director of Sales at Adesso Solutions.

As for Katie, she works in finance at an investment company in the St. Paul Area in Greater Minneapolis (no further details were provided on her LinkedIn page).

Needless to say, we won’t be seeing them on Shark Tank again in the near future; it’s obvious that they’ve moved on to other things.

The post Bee Free Honee 2026 Update- What Happened After Shark Tank appeared first on Gazette Review.

The BoobyPack Before Shark Tank

The BoobyPack is the creation of female entrepreneur, Christina Conrad. She describes it as a ‘fanny pack for your rack’ and the inspiration for this product came about in an unusual way. Christina is a big fan of electronic dance music and found when she attended events or raves she had nowhere safe to place her possessions. So she decided to create the BoobyPack. The BoobyPack is a sports bra with waterproof, zippered pockets that can hold your cell phone, cash and credit cards.

The BoobyPack – the fanny pack for your rack

At first Christina was just targeting fans of the electronic dance music events like herself but she soon realized that the BoobyPack is a very useful product for women who want to part-take in sporting activities or have an active lifestyle. The BoobyPack is the perfect sports bra to keep your valuables close to you. At first, Christina opted for a Kickstarter campaign to get the BoobyPack off the ground. She was aiming to raise $15,000 but successfully raised $ 32,725 over the course of the campaign. This funding enabled her to broaden the BoobyPack range and even introduced tank tops to the range. The BoobyPack was being sold online but to really get the product out there, Christina knew she would need some additional funding as well as some business expertise. She decided to take her idea to the shark tank. Will the sharks bite and come on board with the BoobyPack?

The BoobyPack On Shark Tank

Christina enters the shark tank with an assistant who is wearing the BoobyPack for the sharks to see the product. After introducing herself, she explains that she is seeking an $80,000 investment in return for a twenty per cent equity share in her company. The sharks are amused when Christina explains that the BoobyPack is the ‘fanny pack for your rack’. Christina goes on to explain that it is essentially a fashionable sports bra with two zippered pockets that can store your keys, cash, cell-phone or credit cards. She demonstrates this by placing some valuables into the pockets of the BoobyPack. Christina then goes on to explain the added benefit of the BoobyPack is that it is completely waterproof. This means that you can go and enjoy your favorite music festival or gym class without having to worry about your valuables getting wet in the process.

Lori asks if the sharks get to see samples and Christina hands out custom made samples for each of the sharks to take a closer look at the product. Kevin is wondering about size as not one size fits all when it comes to women’s’ sports bras. Christina explains that the sizes of the BoobyPack range from Small to Extra-Large.

Robert is eager to know about the cost of the product to which Christina informs him that it costs $7.17 to manufacture and retails at $55. Robert is genuinely impressed by this piece of information. Barbara wants to delve deeper into what the sales have been like since the BoobyPack was created. Christina explain that BoobyPack began as a Kickstarter campaign in January 2013 and within thirty days, she had more than doubled her goal income of $15,000. When the website launched in June 2014, $10,000 worth of product sold on the very first day. Robert is clearly impressed by this. Kevin asks for the sales figure since the product launched to which Christina replied that total sales of $167,000 had been reached since the launch of the BoobyPack. Robert wants to know more regarding how exactly the product has been sold so successfully thus far. Christina explains that almost all of the sales have been done online and Robert wants to know what her plan is for the product. Christina explains that while she has just sold the product online, it has been easy for her to maintain the identity of the brand. However, now she is ready to take the BoobyPack to the next level.

Barbara is interested to find out exactly how Christina manages to increase traffic on the BoobyPack website. Christina explains that she has used search engine optimization as a useful marketing tool. Further to that she has been using the popular social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest, to showcase and promote the BoobyPack products. When she mentions the social media platforms, Lori is keen to know how many followers the brand has. Christina claims that there are eleven thousand Facebook followers but that figure is growing by four hundred each week.

Mark is interested to know why the sales have not been higher and wonders why exactly Christina has not been using paid advertising online to help her gain more following and thus gain more customers. Christina is erring on the side of caution and has not taken any sort of salary since starting the company. Barbara is interested to know how exactly Christina is supporting herself. At this point, Christina gets quite emotional when she tells the sharks that her father passed away and left her some money. The money was intended for further education but being an entrepreneur himself, Christina is certain that he would approve of her using it to fund her business.

Mark acknowledges the fact that Christina is seeing how difficult it is to get a company off the ground. For him, he does not think there is enough of the product at present. For those reasons, he declares himself out. Christina addresses Mr. Wonderful himself and says she would love to do business with him as he is an expert in licensing which is something that could be of benefit to her and to the BoobyPack. Kevin says he will make an offer. He will give Christina the $80,000 and won’t take an equity, however, he wants $10 in perpetuity per unit sold. Christina seems decisive when thanking Kevin for his offer but claims that as her company grows, the last thing she needs is to be siphoning money away from it. Kevin advises her to wait to see if the other sharks have anything to offer before she decides to turn down his offer.

Barbara takes her turn and commends Christina for being the ‘whole package’. Surprisingly however, she declares herself out claiming that she does not think Christina needs any help. Lori commends Christina’s passion and drive and says it is a feature she loves to see in budding entrepreneurs. Although Lori thinks that Christina is a great position to keep building the company slowly, for her it is just too early to commit. Or that reason, she declares herself out.

Robert is impressed at the amount of work Christina has done in a short space of time. As well as that he admires her relentlessness and decides to make an offer. Robert agrees to give the $80,000 but in return for a thirty per cent equity share in the company. Barbara interjects that Christina does not need Robert and in a surprise twist, Kevin jumps in and says he wants to modify his offer. Kevin offers to give the $80,000 as requested. However, once $320,000 has been made, he will no longer take thee $10 royalty per item sold. Instead, he will then hold just a five per cent equity share in the company.

Christina sticks to her guns and although she appreciates that Kevin has modified his offer, she still does not want to be giving away money as the business is still growing. Christina then turns to Robert and makes a counter offer asking him to consider reducing the equity share to twenty-five per cent. Robert is unwilling to move from his first offer and maintains that he wants a thirty per cent equity share of the company. In another incredible twist, Barbara interjects once more and says she will offer $80,000 for a twenty-five per cent equity share. Christina instantly agrees and the deal is done.

Barbara makes a shock offer after previously declaring herself out

Christina leaves the shark tank incredibly happy that she has Barbara on board. She acknowledges how hands on Barbara is with all of deals she makes in the shark tank and the prospect of working with her and taking the BoobyPack to the next level is an exciting one!

The BoobyPack Now In 2026 – The After Shark Tank Update

The “Shark Tank Effect” caused their sales to explode. Within a couple of minutes of the episode airing, they had sold more than $2,000 worth of products, which is impressive to say the least. Not only that but their sales also went up due to the media coverage that they received after appearing on the show. They also received a huge number of encouraging emails from fans.

This motivated Christina, who had plans on getting the BoobyPack in front of as many consumers as possible—not just music lovers, but travelers, athletes, and parents as well.

The company last updated their Facebook page on December 5, 2016 – the same year they announced that they would be closing

Alas, it was not meant to be. Just a year later, they announced through their social media account that they would be shutting down in late 2016. They ended up holding a final sale on the popular e-commerce site, Zulily, in December, before officially closing their doors in January 2017.

We’re not exactly sure why they folded but as far as we can tell, Barbara did stay on in some capacity as she was featured in several of the company’s social media posts prior to their closure. Prior to pulling the plug, Christina also thanked fans for their support on Facebook. However, it didn’t seem to gain much traction as it only received a few likes.

As of 2026, the Boobypack is no longer available for purchase anywhere. In fact, there aren’t many posts about the product at all, other than the ones that detail their Shark Tank experience. While their social media pages are still up, it’s obvious that they have been abandoned as they haven’t been updated since 2016—the same year they announced their closure.

What is Christina up to nowadays? From the looks of it, she has decided to pursue her passion for writing once again. According to LinkedIn, she currently works as a freelance writer and lives with her husband and dogs on a farm in Connecticut.

At one point, she also published a children’s book titled, Princess Pinecone and the Wee Royals, with 10% of all proceeds going to GIY, a social enterprise business that empowers kids and adults. That’s not all, she also has a novel in the works. For those who are interested, you can check out her current and past projects on her official website christinabernstein.com. She even has a section where you can buy her personalized books.

The bottom line is, the company no longer exists; she has moved on to other things. Given that, we probably won’t be seeing Christina in the tank again anytime soon.

The post The BoobyPack 2026 Update- What Happened After Shark Tank appeared first on Gazette Review.

The Monkey Mat is the creation of two long-time friends turned entrepreneurs, Courtney Turich and Christie Barany. The Monkey Mat is a five-foot square mat that folds up so you can bring it wherever you go ensuring you always have a clean surface on which to place children or a clean surface for children to play on. The pair started brainstorming ideas to create such a product after Christie endured a six-hour layover in an airport with her young children. The duo thought up the idea of creating a small, potable floor mat and so the Monkey Mat was created.

The Monkey Mat folds up neatly so it can be brought wherever you go. It comes in four colors and is also machine washable, another bonus and factor that will make this product even more appealing for parents. Courtney and Christie started off by selling the Monkey Mat on Amazon. The Monkey Mat experienced initial success on the online store however Courtney and Christie knew they need some additional help to get the product into large retail stores. They decided to turn to the Shark Tank in the hope that the sharks would like the product. Not only did the women need some extra revenue to expand the product, they were looking for some business expertise and key relationships with retail distributors, all of which the sharks could provide. But will the sharks bite and do a deal on the Monkey Mat?

Monkey Mat On Shark Tank

Courtney and Christie enter the shark tank introducing themselves as the ‘Monkey Mat Mommas’ and tell the sharks that they are seeking an investment of $100,000 in return for a thirty per cent equity share in their company. Courtney and Christie then go on to explain that the Monkey Mat is the only clean surface you can have anywhere you go making it an essential product for families who live life on the go. Christie goes on to tell the sharks about her own experience where she watched her daughters play and crawl all over the dirty floors and surfaces in the airport during an unexpected prolonged wait. When no product existed to solve the ladies’ problem, they decided to take matters into their own hands and create the product themselves. The Monkey Mat is made from a material that ensures any grass, dirt, water, etc will wipe straight off. Further to that there’s weights at each corner to ensure it stays down firmly on whatever surface you might place the Monkey Mat on. In the center of the mat there are loops for keys or toys to attach onto.

Lori asks if the sharks can take a closer look at the Monkey Mat. Robert is already impressed with how easily Courtney folded the product back up as she is talking to the sharks. Lori asks if the women are related and how exactly the partnership came about. Courtney explains that the duo are dear friends who have known each other for eleven years. Robert is keen to talk numbers and asks about current sales. Christie explains that they have achieved $60,000 in sales during their first year of business from sales online and from a retailer that stocks the product. Robert asks about the cost of the product to which the ladies reply it retails at $39.99. The Monkey Mat is made in China and costs $13.14 to make and ship. All of the sharks are shocked at how high the cost of manufacture is. Christie explains that the material is treated specially to be both water repellent and soft. As well as that the weights present on each corner of the mat are stainless steel discs which further elevates the cost of manufacture.

Kevin is struggling with the fact that people are paying for ‘a piece of nylon’ on the floor. Christie explains that this product is special in that it is portable and people buy for convenience as well as for the good quality product they are receiving. Mark Cuban can see the good qualities of the product and claims his wife would have no qualms paying for a product so portable and convenient. Mark also goes on to say that he loves the product but hates the price. Kevin interjects saying he thinks the price should be $9.99. Mark goes on to say that people will buy the product but with such a high retail price, it will never be a mass product.

Robert is disappointed that the ladies cannot lower the price for the product to become a mass market product and due to that, he declares himself out.

Lori maintains that with the right strategic partner the ladies could lower the price to make this product a mass market product.

Kevin maintains that he does not get the product. He is not sure if the duo will succeed in getting the price of the product down but he claims it will be without his help. He declares himself out.

Barbara thinks the product is too small, the colors are ‘not-hip’ and it is far too expensive. Barbara claims this product should be a ten-dollar product, and says she is out.

Christie and Courtney outside the Shark tank after clinching a successful deal with Monkey Mat

Lori asks Christie if she could take the Monkey Mat that is on the floor and fold it back into the pouch. Christie obliges and Mark too folds up the Monkey Mat that he is holding to show Lori just how easy it is. Lori asks Mark if he would be willing to join with her to make the ladies an offer. Lori makes the offer for herself and Mark. They would give the ladies the $100,000 in return for a thirty-five per cent equity share in the company. Lori says that with both their contacts and help, they can get the price of the manufacturing down as well as getting thee product out there on the market. Mark and Lori put the pressure on for the ladies to decide and after a brief moment of consideration, they agree to do the deal. Christie and Courtney leave the shark tank clearly ecstatic to get the deal. Back inside the shark tank that the product is not a magic carpet but a ‘ride to hell’. Mark and Lori seem satisfied that another successful deal has been done in the shark tank.

Monkey Mat Now in 2018- The After Shark Tank Update

The deal with Lori and Mark was finalized and with their help, they were able to grow the business. They also seem to have taken Barbara’s comments to heart as they eventually released the mat in a variety of colors and patterns. They also slashed the price down from $39.99 to $19.99. Babys-R-Us and Kids-R-Us also expressed interest in their products.

They launched a Kickstarter campaign in 2015 for the new Quilted Monkey Mat, which successfully raised more than $29,000

A year after their Shark Tank appearance, they launched a Kickstarter campaign for a new Quilted Monkey Mat, which they advertised as a “cushy, portable mat for indoor and outdoor use.” With the help of 615 backers, they successfully raised $29,786—nearly triple that of their original goal—which helped bring the project to life. And By December 2016, they had begun shipping out the mats to their backers.

With time, however, it became obvious that there were quality issues with the quilted mat. For one thing, many users had written on their Kickstarter page that the zipper and buckle strap on their mat had become loose after the stitching came undone. Some people also commented on the size of the mat- that it’s “tiny” and impossible to fit several people on it.

Then in 2017, they introduced a “plush” mat as well as the “Fureez Line”, which consists of pet blankets, slings, and bowls. As far as we can tell, however, they never really picked up. Still, they seemed to stay afloat with the original Monkey Mat.

The error message that you’re greeted with upon visiting their website

Fast forward to 2026 and their products are no longer available. Not only is their website down but their social media pages have also been abandoned (they were last updated in 2019). Interestingly enough, the page for their Amazon store is still up. While there are various products listed on the page, however, none are actually available for sale, which further confirms our suspicion that the business is gone for good. If anything, it’s a shame as the mats seemed to be popular among customers.

While a variety of products are listed on their Amazon store, none are actually available for sale – all of the items are “currently unavailable”

What are Courtney and Christie up to nowadays? According to LinkedIn, the former had left Monkey Mat back in August 2017. Currently, she is the VP of North American Sales at Cooler Heads Care and a partner at TG3 Consulting. Prior to that, she was the Regional Capital Sales Manager at Olympus Veran Technologies.

As for Christie, we’re not too sure. Her LinkedIn profile still has her listed as the president of Monkey Mat, though it’s obvious that the business has folded.

One thing’s for sure, though- we probably won’t be seeing the pair of friends again on the show anytime soon. For one thing, Courtney had checked out of the business back in 2017.

The post Monkey Mat Update- What Happened After Shark Tank appeared first on Gazette Review.

Clean Sleep is the brain child of male entrepreneur Michael Ingle of Dallas, Texas. Michael’s company Clean Sleep is a mobile mattress cleaning franchise. He has come up with a portable cleaning apparatus which is basically like a dry cleaner for mattresses. The whole operation occurs inside Michael’s special cleaning truck. A Clean Sleep technician will clean the mattress using UV light, steam, vacuums, infrared heat and ozone. Within just fifteen minutes after the cleaning process is complete, the mattress is dry and ready to go back onto the bed.

Michael is aware that he has competition out there but he believes that he has set himself apart from his competitors with the quick turn-around. A lot of companies that provide a service like this will not have the mattress ready to return to the customer for up to eight hours or more.

Michael began to focus on getting some hotels on board who would like to avail of his mobile mattress cleaning service. His hope is that he can get Clean Sleep all over the United States. To fulfill his dream, he needs some help. Michael decided to enter the Shark Tank in the hope that one of the sharks would provide the additional revenue needed as well as key business expertise and relationships to get Clean Sweep off its feet. Will Michael clean up in the shark tank and will one of the sharks be willing to bite?

Clean Sleep On Shark Tank

Michael enters the shark tank, introduces himself to the sharks and states that he is looking for a whopping $1.5 million investment in return for a fifteen per cent equity share in Clean Sleep. Michael goes on to claim that Clean Sleep will change the way you sleep at night. The one thing people have the closest contact with and pend the most time on, never gets clean. Michael goes on to show a slideshow of photographs showcasing that every mattress is like a giant sponge that can collect bacteria, dirt and human waste.

Michael then introduces the Clean Sleep mattress cleaning machine and states that it is 99% effective in removing bacteria, viruses, mold, dust mites and bed bugs from a mattress. He tells the shark that the whole process takes only fifteen minutes and leaves the mattress completely dry. The sharks are clearly intrigued and Lori asks how the Clean Sleep works. Michael explains that UV lights are used as well as a hot steam and a vacuum ten times more powerful than the one you find in someone’s home. As well as that infrared heat and ozone induction is used and there is an optional anti-microbial treatment. Michael explains that Clean Sleep have two trucks on the road currently carrying out this service.

Robert asks if the sharks could see a demonstration of how exactly Clean Sleep works. Michael gives a demonstration of the hot steam being emitted just like it is in the mattress cleaning process. Robert is intrigued that Michael has invented this whole system. Michael explains that about eight years ago, while his bed sheets were still drying, he fell asleep on his mattress and was shocked at how dirty it was. So for the following seven and a half years, he has been developing the technology.

Robert asks how often the mattress should be cleaned. Michael claims that for homes, mattresses should be cleaned every six to twelve months. However, for hotels, hospitals and senior living facilities, the mattresses should be cleaned much more frequently.

Lori asks if many hotels have signed up for this service to which Michael replies that at present, Clean Sleep are servicing over thirty hotels. Lori asks Michael why he was so horrified at his mattress on the one occasion that he slept on it without the bed sheets. Michael compares it to changing your clothes everyday but never taking a shower. In the matter of a week you would be filthy. That is why we all change the sheets on our bed. However, what about the mattress underneath. Surely that is just as important.

Robert asks how much the service costs to which Michael replies that the standard service is $89.95. Mark is shocked at the price and Kevin agrees with him claiming that Michael is charging too little for this service. Michael explains that when the Clean Sleep team go out to service a mattress there can be extra charges for stain removal, heat treatments, etc.

Robert is keen to know about sales for the last year. Michael says that he is just after selling the first franchise for $435,000. For Michael’s truck alone, his sales were over $100,000 in the previous eighteen months.

Barbara asks Michael to pitch to hr as if she were a potential franchisee. Michael explains that projections show a $75,000 revenue for the first year of the franchise. Barbara seems underwhelmed that only $75,000 will be made. Robert asks what the net is on the $75,000 and Michael claims he would break even. Robert and Mark agree that to make only $75,000 from a single truck is very low for the whole year. Robert asks why Michael is not making more money. Michael explains that the whole operation is just launching. Franchising the mobile units is only part of Clean Sleep. He is currently in talks with hospitals and some major hotel chains which he hopes to lease the Clean Sleep machine too earning both major revenue and royalties. Michael explains that part of his campaign is to offer Clean Sleep certified beds and hotels that use the service will advertise the fact that Clean Sleep is used to clean their mattresses.

Barbara asks how Michael got into business in the first place. An emotional Michael relays the story of running away from home at just fourteen years old with $120 to his name. He then moved in to his grandparents’ house where his life changed. He realized there was two types of people in the world – those who watch things happen and those who make things happen. Michael wanted to be somebody who would make something happen. At sixteen, he was hired by Boeing and went through six different fields of engineering with them. Five and a half years later, Michael knew working for somebody else wasn’t for him. The sharks are clearly amazed at Michael’s story.

Mark asks what his big plan is, acknowledging the fact that Michael has come to the shark tank asking for quite a large sum of money. Michael says that the way Clean Sleep will make money is by leasing the machines to hospitals, to the military bases and to high volume hotels. Mark questions why this has not already been done. Michael explains that he has just passed the proof of concept stage and negotiations are taking place to make all this happen.

Kevin asks what Michael needs the $1.5 million for to which he replies, he wants to build more machines to do a pilot in a hospital. Mark thinks that Michael has come to the shark tank a bit early with Clean Sleep. Michael states he needs the sharks help to get the strategic partnerships and relationships that would make Clean Sleep the successful brand he wants it to be.

Robert is not sure if the market needs a product like this judging from the small sales figures Michael has given. Barbara claims that when Michael began his pitch, she was impressed. The more he talks however, the more she realized that is too confusing and far too much money. For that reason, she declares herself out.

Robert acknowledges that Michael is clearly a very focused guy but he feels that the longer Michael talked, the less opportunities there was. Unfortunately, the product is not for him so for that reason he too declares himself out.

Mark claims that there is too much going on between the trucks on the road, the leasing and the franchises. For that reason, he declares himself out.

Lori thinks that Clean Sleep is a very smart idea for hotel chains. Unfortunately, that will be a slow process. For Lori, she likes to see the money she invests come back at a faster rate. For the simple fact that it will take a long time to make a profit, although she thinks it is a great idea, Lori declares herself out.

That just leaves Mr. Wonderful to decide on the fate of Michael and Clean Sleep. Kevin gets the product but claims he would be paying $1.5 million to find out what he doesn’t know. Kevin acknowledges that fact that Michael has something amazing with Clean Sleep but unfortunately he is not there and so he declares himself out. Michael leaves the shark tank without a deal. All the sharks wish him the best and encourage him to keep going as he has something great. Lori commends him on all he has achieved in life so far and urges him not to give up. A slightly disappointed Michael leaves the shark tank taking the positives with him. He will use the experience to stay driven and committed to getting Clean Sleep to where he wants it to be.

Clean Sleep Now in 2026– The After Shark Tank Update

Michael might not have received a deal from the sharks but that didn’t stop him from working on the company. If anything, he took their advice to heart. Shortly after the episode aired, he updated their website so that everything is laid out clearly. The company also received a huge reaction from viewers after they learned just how icky a mattress can be.

By 2016, Michael had started creating franchises in the Texas area. He also landed a number of deals with various hotel chains and hospitals that agreed to use their products.

Fast forward to 2026 and Clean Sleep is still in business. In fact, they seem to be doing quite well. The last that we checked, the company was bringing in $2.7 million a year. If anything, this goes to show that it is still possible to succeed even without a deal from the sharks. In Clean Sleep’s case, they were able to grow significantly after finding their niche in the hotel service industry (and they’ve since expanded to other areas).

According to their website, they are now partnered with hotels, hospitals, and other industry leaders to sanitize mattresses, furniture, pillows, PPE, and more. Not only that but they also work with residential buildings, student housing, boats, RVs, trucks, trailers, apartments, and work camps.

CleanSleep uses a 5-step patent-pending technology, which includes ultraviolet C light, high-power vacuum, dry stea, infrared heat, and ozone deodorization

Like before, they currently use a 5-step patent-pending technology that includes ultraviolet C light, high-power vacuum, dry steam, infrared heat, and ozone deodorization.

The process is also straightforward. Those who are interested in their services can schedule an appointment on their website. Clean Sleep will then confirm the appointment within an hour of the appointment; they’ll also let you know when they’re on the way. Once they’ve arrived, they’ll remove all linens from the bed and clear any obstructions that’ll prevent the safe transport of the mattress. They’ll then clean and sanitize your mattress and it’ll be ready in as little as 15 minutes.

In addition to regular mattress cleaning, they also offer specialized services such as bed bug removal, dust mite removal, urine removal, and odor removal.

Will Grip Clean impress the sharks?

Bryce Hudson who is well known for his appearances on X Games and his love of bikes. However, it was that love of bikes and the fact that working with them meant getting extremely dirty that inspired Bryce to come up with the revolutionary Grip Clean. Bryce found his hands used to get very greasy and oily from working with bikes which is difficult to remove. Bryce found himself often covering his hands in dirt to try and shift the grease from his hands. It was then a thought struck him that he could come up with a product to help others who need something similar.

Grip clean is a completely natural product that contains absolutely no harsh chemicals unlike a lot of other soaps to remove heavy grease. The secret to Grip Clean is that dirt is used in the formula. This means the soap is completely organic and as Bryce himself describes it – “the best stuff nature has to offer”.

At just twenty-five years old, Bryce has already sustained a lot of bad injuries and he is aware that he will not be able to continue with the X Games forever. Bryce sees this company as a future for himself and is determined to make it work.

In order to get Grip Clean out on the market all over the United States, Bryce knew that his profile alone would not be enough. He needed some additional investment as well as some business expertise and business relationships with potential suppliers and distributors. So he turned to the Shark Tank in the hope that one of the sharks could provide him with all of that. Will the sharks get their hands dirty and do a deal with Bryce?

Grip Clean On Shark Tank

Bryce enters the shark tank in style on his bike performing a number of stunts with the front wheel in the air. The sharks are instantly drawn in and amazed. Bryce parks the bike, removes his helmet and introduces himself to the sharks. He explains that he is looking for an $85,000 investment in return for a twenty per cent equity share in his company, Grip Clean. Bryce explains to the sharks that he is no stranger to dirt and that is how he came up with the idea of Grip Clean. He explains that he found after years of searching for an effective solution that dirt was the most effective at soaking up and removing greased, oil, chemicals and toxins. The dirt also exfoliates your skin making the skin nice and smooth and keeping in optimum condition. Bryce adds that he wants to take his business out of the garage and he needs the sharks help to do so.

Bryce grabs the sharks’ attention as he enters the shark tank on his motorcycle

Robert is interested to hear about Bryce’s experience at the X Games and all the sharks are impressed at his achievements. When Robert asks if Bryce has ever been badly injured he replies ‘yes, that’s why I need to start a company’. Lori asks what the difference is between Grip Clean and other heavy duty soaps on the market at the minute to which Bryce replies that all the ingredients are natural. That means that mechanics can use the product multiple times a day without using chemicals to clean their hand.

Mark is interested to know what else is in Grip Clean. Bryce explains that it is a coconut oil and olive oil based hand soap and then off course the dirt is the exfoliant that removes the grease. Robert asks if he can try the product. Robert is clearly surprised at how good the product is. The other sharks look on impressed.

Kevin and Mark are interested to know about retail distribution. Bryce explains he has a few local motorcycle stores selling the product but he needs the sharks help to get Grip Clean on the market. Kevin is interested in the numbers and asks about the cost and retail for the product. Bryce explains that it costs $2.12 to make the bottle of Grip Clean, the wholesale price is $5 and the retail in stores is $8.99. Mark asks about competitors and Bryce explains that competitors retail prices range from $5-8. Mark makes the point that some consumers do not care enough to buy natural products and this could be a problem for Bryce and for Grip Clean.

Robert is impressed when he tries Grip Clean

Daymond acknowledges the fact that Bryce can use his credibility in the industry as a selling point as he created the product from his own experience working with motorcycles. Lori is shocked to hear that currently Bryce is making the product out of a five-gallon bucket and he needs the sharks help to get the business out of his garage. Mark commends his good work with a round of applause.

Daymond asks if Bryce has tried social media as a tool to market the product and Bryce explains that it is not working out in his favor. Nobody wants to buy the product online, they would much rather go into a store and buy it.

Robert commends Bryce for his hard work but says it is a difficult game to make a lot of money in. Further to that, from investing in another product called Grease Monkey, Robert feels he knows too much and is only too aware of how hard it is to sell and market such a product. For that reason, he declares himself out.

Mark thinks that Bryce is doing great but he does not have the know-how to make the product into a business. Mark thinks that Bryce needs to learn how to make the product a business before he would be ready to invest. He feels that from his end it would be too much work. For those reasons, he also declares himself out.

Daymond likes the idea but does not think he can be of any great help to Bryce and to Grip Clean. For that reason, Daymond declares himself out.

Mr. Wonderful is impressed with the product – no mean feat for an entrepreneur in the shark tank. Kevin asks about the plan for the product and he and Lori are surprised to hear that Bryce wants to keep manufacturing the product himself. Surely that would not be feasible if he wants t mass produce the product. Bryce explains that he tried to find a manufacturer and the problem he faced was the fact that dirt is an ingredient. Most potential manufacturers said they did not want to work with dirt.

Kevin gets real with Bryce and says that there is no way that he can continue to manufacture the product at home if he wants grip Clean to make it big. Bryce claims it would not be that hard and he could make it in fifty-five gallon drums to which Lori and Kevin completely disagree with.

Kevin reaches a decision and unfortunately he does not see ‘enough meat on the bone’. He declares himself out leaving just Lori that can help Bryce get Grip Clean out on the market.

Lori is very concerned that no manufacturer wanted to manufacture the product. She claims that any manufacturer should want to job if they are getting paid. Bryce claims that he was not taken seriously by any company he met with. Lori is undecided. She says that Grip Clean fits within the family of her products. She also loves the fact that the product is completely natural. Lori decides that she will take a chance but she acknowledges that she will have a lot of work to do. Therefore, she is willing to offer the $85,000 for a thirty-five per cent equity share of the company. Bryce takes a moment to consider before agreeing to Lori’s offer. He has himself a deal. Bryce leaves the shark tank incredibly happy that Lori has taken a chance on him to make Grip Clean the success he knows it can be.

Grip Clean Now In 2026 – The After Shark Tank Update

Unfortunately, the deal with Lori never got past the due diligence stage. Despite that, Bryce managed to grow the business. For one thing, he landed distribution deals with CarQuest, Advanced Auto Parts, and Cycle Gear.

He also began to sell the product on Amazon. While it’s no longer available from the site, it did have a 4.5-star rating out of 2,000 reviews, which is fairly impressive. And the consensus from customers seems to be positive—that the hand cleaner is easy to use and works well. Many have also praised it for its exfoliating abilities.

As of 2026, Grip Clean is still operational. If anything, their popularity has only gone up in recent years. For those who are interested in trying out the hand cleaner, it can still be purchased from their official website. In fact, you can get it in different formats. For example, you can get the hand cleaner as a squeeze bottle(rated for 25-35 washes) or as a countertop jug (over 500+ pumps). Not only that, but they also offer hand and tool wipes in 30 and 72-count containers. There’s even a wall dispenser that you can get and it’s made from stainless steel. That way, you won’t have to worry about it breaking with round-the-clock washing.
