I went there late last year to try out the new bar and food menu. A very big MEH from me, but I never bothered to write a Google or Yelp review as I saw that dozens of other patrons already acted on my reactions. I also caught that episode of Bar Rescue and was amazed at the lack of business acumen, not only by Danny but his investors. None of them came across as professionals who have been involved with business ventures of any kind, so it's no surprise that all of them ended up on the losing side of the proposition (if there ever was one).

On a related note, I also tried out that Dog House eatery located near the Lakewood Mall and had no idea Danny owned/ran that one. Looks like that went belly up too and for good reason; they're food and service really sucked! As someone who has extended family who work in family owned restaurant business I can at least tell you that it's no walk in the park when you're getting started, but it looked like these guys watched too much reality TV "rehab" shows or something.

Additionally, I heard through a friend that the landlord for this Viking Way property has turned to the greedy side and has increased the rents for all his tenants by 50%. This leads me top believe that he intends to kick everyone out and sell his land, possibly to a mixed-use land developer. Gentrification may finally have made it's way into the 'burbs!
