A talented rapper, Future has churned out numerous hits since his solo debut in 2012. Some of his most noteworthy tracks include Jumpman, March Madness, Low Life, Where Ya At, Mask Off, and Selfish, to name a few.
Hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, the rapper has been performing music ever since his teen years. A former member of the Dungeon Family, it was his first cousin Rico Wade, who had ultimately encouraged him to pursue rap as a full-time career.
How Future Became Famous
After releasing a series of mixtapes in the early 2010’s, he landed a major record deal with AI Recordings and Epic Records in 2011. A year later, he dropped his debut album, Pluto, which ended up being a major success. Responsible for the hit singles Magic, and Turn On the Lights, the album itself eventually went gold in the U.S.
Since then, his popularity has only heightened with his subsequent projects, Honest, Vol, DS2, Future, and Hndrxxi, to name a few.
In terms of collaborations, Future has also worked with many other artists including Zaytoven, 808 Mafia, Rihanna, Drake, The Weekend, and Chris Brown, to name a few. To date, some of his most popular joint ventures include Love Me, Bugatti, Tapout, and U.O.E.N.O.
For his contributions to music, he has received several accolades including a BET Award for Best Group, a Much Music Award for Best Hip-Hop Video, among several others.
Future’s Personal Life
Having been in multiple relationships in the past, Future is currently the father of four children from four different women: Ciara, India J, Brittni Mealy, and Jessica Smith. In the past, he had been engaged to singer Ciara, though she ultimately called it off due to alleged claims of infidelity on his end.
The last that we heard, he was being sued by both Ciara and Jessica Smith for failing to pay child support, and defamation.
