In my view, I think her two best films were Single White Female with Jennifer Jason Leigh (and one of Leigh’s best performances as well), and Point of No Return. I respect the choice she made to leave the acting profession but I do miss her on the big screen.

I know “bloggers” need to make a living but come on… Remarkable how a virtually unknown hack can so easily discount an acting career that most in the life would envy. The fact that Fonda chose to back away from her career and move on with a new chapter of her life is brave, even honourable. Choices of that sort are clearly beyond the grasp of this nameless scribe, the CV says it all…
