Kiari Cephus aka “Offset” is best known as a member of the hip-hop group, Migos. Alongside Takeoff and Quavo, he had gained a significant amount of attention following the release of their hit single, Versace in 2013.
Hailing from Georgia, the rapper has been involved with hip-hop ever since his teens. Aside from his work with Migos, he has also been making strides as a solo artist in the past few years.

How Kiari Cephus Became Famous
Ultimately it’s as a part of Migos that he first gained widespread fame; their first single to hit it big, Versace was released in 2013. Responsible for their rise to fame, it had peaked at number 99 on the Hot Billboard 100 and at number 31 on the Top Hip-Hop Songs chart. Eventually, the record also went gold in the U.S., making it their first RIAA-certified single.
Since then, the trio has dropped a number of projects including the chart-topper, Bad and Boujee, which went four times platinum in the U.S. Last year, they had also issued their second studio album, Culture, which soared to the top of the Billboard Top 200.
Some of their other most popular songs to date include Slippery, T-Shirt, MotorSport, Fight Night, and Handsome and Wealthy.
Kiari Cephus’ Solo Music Career
Aside from his work with the trio, the rapper has also been involved with several other projects. For instance, he had teamed up with 21 Savage and Metro Boomin on the collaborative album, Without Warning, which came out in October 2017. Around that same time, he also came out with the promotional singles What the Price, I Can, and Call Casting, two of which charted in the U.S. and Canada.
On top of that, he has been featured in the works of Philthy Rich, Fly Ty, Made Man, Amine, and Juicy J, among others.
