Audrina Patridge is American television personality who rose to fame in the mid 2000’s in the reality series, The Hills. Extremely fond of both drama and acting ever since she was a child, Patridge’s childhood dream was to become a Hollywood actress. Signing on with a management company as soon as she turned eighteen, the brunette quickly began to honing her craft through acting lessons and drama classes. Eventually while waiting for her big break, Patridge was approached by a producer who later invited her to the cast of a MTV reality series called, The Hills when she was twenty one. Although it was a reality television series and not a straight-up acting role, the brunette gladly accepted it as her first step into the show businessーlittle did she know at the time, that it would ultimately become one of her most well-known roles on the small screen to date.

Cast as one of the main characters of The Hills, Patridge’s on-screen presence and popularity soon began to riseーbefore long, she had already risen to prominence as a television personality. By the time the show ended in the summer of 2010, the brunette was only one of two cast members who stayed as a main lead throughout all six seasons; to this date, it remains to be Patridge’s best known TV appearance. In between filming for The Hills, she also took part in a number of other shows such as Pop Fiction (2008), Do Not Disturb (2008), The City (2008), The Hills: Spoof’d (2008), Dress My Nest (2009), to list a few. In 2009, the reality star also made her debut on the big screen in the slasher film, Sorority Row which starred actors Leah Pipes, Rumer Willis, Carrie Fisher and Briana Evigan; for her portrayal in the movie, Patridge was nominated for a Teen Choice Award for the category of “Choice Movie Actress in a Horror/Thriller.”

Shortly after the end of The Hills, which was responsible for the launching of her career, the brunette once again returned to the limelight as a contestant on the eleventh season of ABC’s dancing competition series, Dancing with the Stars. Competing against several other celebrities with her professional partner Tony Dovolani, they breezed through the first few rounds with their dance moves but was later eliminated during the sixth episodeーplacing them at seventh place overall; actress Jennifer Grey and her partner Derek Hough ultimately won the dance-off in the end.

So what has the television personality and reality star been up to since then? What new endeavours have she taken on? What happened to Audrina Patridge? Where is she now in 2018?

Audrina Patridge’s Upbringing and Eventual Start in the Show Biz

Born on May 9, 1985, in Los Angeles, California, Audrina Cathleen Patridge is the daughter of Mark and Lynn Patridge. She is the oldest out of three siblings and is of Italian, Belgian, German, Polish and English descent. Growing up in the suburban city of Yorba Linda, California, Patridge took part in several school productions and dreamt of becoming a Hollywood actress. Aside from being a fan of the performing arts, she also took part in many other activities such as cheerleading, martial arts and dance in her early life. Chasing her dreams as a student, she took several drama classes in hopes that one day she would be able to make it big in the show business. Eager to start her acting career, Patridge signed on with a small Los Angeles management company as soon as she turned eighteen in the early 2000’s. While waiting for her big break, the brunette continued to hone her skills through private acting lessons and supplementary drama classes.

In a twist of fate, the aspiring actress was one day spotted by a television producer while sunbathing by a pool in her native Los Angelesーunbeknownst to her, she had been relaxing right next to the MTV production of a reality series called The Hills. Having captured the attention of the producer, she was then invited to join the cast of the TV show. Shortly afterwards, Patridge made her small screen debut in the MTV series alongside other cast members including Lauren Conrad, Heidi Montag and Whitney Port.

Audrina Patridge’s Television Debut in The Hills

First premiered in May 2006, The Hills followed the lives of several professional women in the bustling city of Los Angeles; although the series originally focused mainly on Conrad (who had also appeared in the show’s predecessor), it later went on to emphasize and chronicle the lives of her friends. As one of them, Patridge was depicted as the fun and outgoing one of the group. As the show pressed on, she eventually began an on and off relationship with her boyfriend, Justin Bresciaーsomething which became a continuing storyline throughout the seasons. Upon its release, The Hills was met with generally positive reviews from critics, with many describing it to be a “guilty pleasure”.

Despite having maintained a steady viewership throughout its run however, there were times when it was criticized for appearing to fabricating much of its storyline. Looking past that, the reality series ran for just over a hundred episodes, spanning over six seasonsーPatridge was one of only two original cast members, that remained for the entire duration of the show (the other being that of Heidi Montag). Following its run, The Hills went on to produce a number of spin-offs including The City, Kell on Earth and Audrina, the last of which was originally intended to revolve around the lives of Patridge and her family; due to underwhelming ratings upon its air however, it was later cancelled by the network. Although The Hills ended over half a decade ago back in 2010, it remains to be one of Patridge’s best known roles on television.

Audrina Patridge as a Contestant on Dancing with the Stars

Shortly after the end of The Hills in July 2010, Patridge once again returned to the screens as a contestant on the eleventh season of ABC’s popular Dancing with the Stars. Following the traditional style and format of the series, it featured a group of celebrities who are each paired with a professional dancer; as the show progresses, they then perform a number of predetermined dances to compete against one another for the audience and judges’ approval. Every week, the couple with the lowest score is eliminated until a winning pair is left at the end of the series.

First aired on September 20, 2010, season eleven of Dancing with the Stars saw twelve celebrity cast members including Jennifer Grey, Kyle Massey, Bristol Palin, Brandy, Kurt Warner, Florence Henderson, Rick Fox, amongst a number of others. In the competition, Patridge was paired up with Tony Dovolaniーa professional dancer who has many seasons of experience of being on the show. In the first week, the brunette and Dovolani were chosen to perform the Cha-Cha-Cha accompanied by Katy Perry’s California Gurls, a performance which ultimately earned them a total score of 19 points and moved them along to the next round. Over the following weeks, the pair performed the Quickstep, Waltz, Argentine Tango and Rumba dances, all which garnered impressive scores from the judge’s panel. Despite their efforts however, they were eventually eliminated during the sixth week. At the end of the season, actress Jennifer Grey and her partner Derek Hough came out as the winner after beating actor Kyle Massey in the finale.

Audrina Patridge and her Later Career on Reality TV

In the fall of 2010, it was announced that Patridge would be getting her own reality series on the VH1 Network. In a later interview with US Magazine, the brunette revealed that the premise of the show will centre around her and her family; at one point, she even hinted that Tony Dovolani, her partner from Dancing with the Stars, may be making a special appearance. In January of 2011, the name of the series was revealed to be Audrina. It wasn’t until two months later in March that the first promo clip was aired on television with the announcement that it will be premiering on VH1 in April of 2011.

Revolving around the life of her and her family members, Audrina featured her parents Lynne Patridge and Mark Patridge and her siblings Casey Loza, Marky Patridge and Samantha Patridge. On the first episode, the reality show followed Patridge as she posed for a bikini photo shoot and later went home for a family dinner. Despite being a spin-off of the popular The Hills however, Audrina was met with mixed reviews and garnered less than a million viewers for its premiere. Following ten episodes and the end of the first season, it was announced by VH1 that the network will not be renewing the show for a second season.

A few months after the end of the VH1 reality series, Patridge landed a role in a YOBI.tv web series called Dream Maker. Created by Dianne Victor, it featured the brunette as an up-and-coming talent manager who starts her own talent agency after moving from Hollywood to Detriot. Other members of its cast includes Rory Kramer and Lisa Mason Leeーboth of whom are YOBIAct winners. Filmed in around Detrot, Dream Maker ran for thirteen episodes before ending on September 13, 2011.

What’s Audrina Patridge Doing Now in 2018- Recent Updates

The brunette is married! Just a few days ago this November, Patridge and her long-time boyfriend of eight years, BMX dirt bike rider Corey Bohan, tied the knot in front of 130 guests in Hawaii. The two have been engaged ever since November of 2015, after Bohan popped the question to the reality star at the Summit House in Orange County with her family in the audience. The couple welcomed a baby girl named Kirra Max into their family a few months prior to their intimate wedding celebration.

Going back to the topic of reality TV, the new mother recently starred as a contestant on Food Network’s Cupcake Wars this July. The culinary reality series, which first premiered in December 2009, follows a similar format as that of the popular show Chopped; it starts off with a small handful of aspiring bakers who are then are eliminated one by one after facing off against each other in a heated cupcake bake-off. At the end of the season, the winning team is awarded a cash prize of $10,000. Patridge made her appearance on the fifth episode of the series’ tenth season, alongside Nick Young, Lee Thompson and Perez Hilton.

Lauren Ogilivie Bosworth the other Lauren, better known as Lo Bosworth, was an actor known for her work on both “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” and its spin-off show “The Hills”. Since then she has filled her time with projects both on-screen and off. Let’s find out what she’s doing these days.

Lo Bosworth Early Life

Lo Bosworth was born on September 29th 1986 in Laguna Beach, California. She was cast in the teen reality show “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” in 2004. The Show followed her and several friends final year of high school. Though she graduated by the end of the first season, she made a few appearances in the second one as well.

After the show she attended the University of California in Santa Barbara but transferred to UCLA. She graduated from there with a major in Art History. She did not appear in the first season of the Laguna Beach spin-off show “The Hills” as she and Lauren Conrad were not on speaking terms. They reconciled in 2007 and she made her first appearance in March.

Heidi Montag moved in with her boyfriend Spencer Pratt in the middle of the second season of “The Hills” and her friendship with Lauren had deteriorated by the beginning of the third. Because of this Lo Bosworth became a series regular, getting a house with Conrad and Audrina Patridge. Partridge would soon move out though.

Her private life became rather more public in the third season as she allowed the cameras to follow her to her work place. When Conrad left the show half way through its fifth season Lo Bosworth was afforded more screen time. The show finished in 2010 after six seasons.

Since the conclusion of “The Hills” Lo Bosworth has made few appearances in other media. She dipped her toe into producing work with MTV’s “I’m Positive” a documentary on people living with HIV. She Launched her blog in late 2010, called The Lo Down by Lo Bosworth and released a book under the same name in 2011.

What is Lo Bosworth Doing Now?

In 2013 she co-founded Revelry House, a brand designed to help host a party. It must be a big business this party hosting thing because everyone has their own take on the concept. She also started her own beauty based YouTube channel. It was here she revealed that she had been returning to school to study cooking.

She claims that cooking had always been a passion for her and seeks to use her new-found knowledge to help build the Revelry House brand. She isn’t stopping there though, because this year she intends to study at the French Culinary Institute and is getting her certificate of graduate studies in nutrition from Tufts University. Expect to see meticulously designed delicacies begin to pop up on her blog and YouTube channel.

She seems to be returning to acting this year, appearing in the third installment of the “Jeepers Creepers” franchise. The return of the mothman-esque monster to big screens is right around the corner.

She currently resides in New York and still regularly updates her blog. Her most recent business venture is a line of feminine hygiene products. The line is selling, and it seems her momentum will keep going through 2018. Still no release of Jeepers Creepers 3 though, but we can’t have everything.

The post What Happened To Lo Bosworth – 2018 Update appeared first on Gazette Review.

He hit rock bottom after appearing in MTV’s “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” and its follow-up show “The Hills”. Bad-boy boyfriend to star Lauren Conrad, Jason Wahler has fought a battle with addiction and won. So where is he these days?

Jason Wahler Early Days

Jason Wahler was born on January 11th 1987 in the same city as the show that made him famous. He joined the cast of the second season of “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” as the boyfriend of then star Lauren Conrad. When she transitioned into “The Hills” he was a long for the ride.

Initially Lauren was single on the show but a phone call from Jason convinced her to give him a second chance. He himself would admit he probably didn’t deserve one. The lifestyle behind the scenes of the show was wild. He would throw parties all the time and getting drugs was as simple as calling a number.

It wasn’t long before they broke up again and Jason dove head first into the party scene. He would host them at his house in Los Angeles. Guests of fifty to a hundred people raging and having a good time thinking he too was enjoying himself. In reality he was using the parties as a smokescreens to cover his addiction. He would go off to the bathroom to drink and snort as much as he could.

His drinking got him into trouble with the law, it began with an acquaintance who would not leave his home after a party. He attacked the guy, kicking him out. It would escalate to fighting in the street. He was convicted of misdemeanor battery in 2006 and criminal trespass and assault in 2007. He was in and out of jail several times before he sought help.

It couldn’t last and in September 2007 he checked himself into rehab. It didn’t stick and his continued addiction and law troubles caused his relationship with Katja Decker-Sadowski to fall apart in 2009. The couple had been engaged since 2007. It wasn’t until he met Dr Drew and joined the cast of “Celebrity Rehab” that he had true resolve to fix his problems. Since his time on the show he has joined AA and gotten a sponsor.

What is Jason Wahler Doing Now in 2018?

He has been clean and sober since 2010. In 2012 he got engaged to Model Ashley Slack and was wed on October 12th 2013. The pair exchanged their vows at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu in a short ceremony. In attendance was long time friend and the man who help Jason get his life back together Dr Drew Pinsky.

These days Jason Wahler works with Origins Behavioral Health and Widespread Recovery as a treatment and recovery advocate. He uses his own personal experiences to inspire people with addiction to get and, more importantly, remain sober. Origin’s focus on after care treatment is what drew him to the position. He has hired a PR firm and there is talk of him returning to acting at some point in the future, though no further details exist. Here’s hopinhg he continues to improve and we see him in something in 2017.

The post What Happened To Jason Wahler – News & Updates appeared first on Gazette Review.

Kristin Cavallari MD, wait she isn’t a doctor is she? Kristin Cavallari was the star of reality T.V. shows “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” and “The Hills”. Her career didn’t really go anywhere else after this, but she is developing a following as a motherhood Guru. Let’s take a look back at how we got here.

Kristin Cavallari’s Early Life

Kristin Cavallari was born on January 5th 1987 in Denver Colorado to Judith Eifrig and Dennis Cavallari. The younger of two children, she attended Laguna Beach High School as a teenager and in 2004 she was cast in “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County”. The show documents the lives of her and her friends, including Lauren Conrad.

Initially she was in a relationship with cast mate Stephen Colletti which caused a rivalry with Conrad. This love triangle would form the bases of much of the first season’s drama. In the second season she replaced Conrad as the narrator of the show. Having graduated by the time the third season rolled around she did not appear.

Moving to Los Angeles after the conclusion of her time on “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” she pursued a career in acting. She appeared in several highly regarding shows during this time. Including the critically acclaimed cult classic, and successfully Kickstarted, T.V. show “Veronica Mars” in the shows second season.

Kristin Cavallari on The Hills

She would also appear in the independent horror flick Fingerprints, which would win best feature at the New York City Horror Film Festival. These were followed by bit parts on “Cane”, “CSI: NY” and a few other films, though all her other film credits were poorly received.

She began her charity work with an appearance for the “Until there’s a Cure” PSA campaign to raise awareness for HIV and AIDS in an attempt to find a vaccine. Considering her stance on vaccinations this was a gutsy move. In 2006 she loaned her support to PETA in an attempt to restore Ellis Island. Commendably she also supported the NOH8 campaign in support of gay marriage in 2009.

In 2009 she accepted a role on MTV’s “The Hills”, replacing exiting, and former “Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County” co-star Lauren Conrad. She made her début during Heidi and Spencer’s fake wedding, mid-season finale of season five. She signed a contract to star on the show for two more seasons, but it was cancelled after the sixth.

After “The Hills” she appeared in several reality shows, most notably season 13 of “Dancing With the Stars”. Unfortunately eliminated in week three of the competition Kristin Cavallari placed tenth overall. A few guest judging spots and a small role in “The League” rounds out her television career.

She began dating Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler in 2010. They were engaged in April 2011 and after briefly calling it off in July were wed in June 2013, in Nashville Tennessee for some reason, she’s from Denver and he’s from Santa Claus Indiana. They have three children, two boys and a recently born girl.

What is Kristin Cavallari Doing Now in 2018?

Controversially in 2014 she has decided that she knows more about child and societal health than her doctors. Believing the self-confessed fraudulent 1998 publication of Andrew Wakefield, she thinks that vaccination cause autism. No evidence exists that this is the case, but I am quite certain if any of her children contract a preventable disease and interact with anyone who is immuno-compromised that the results will be both catastrophic and fatal. I can only hope that she changes her mind.

These days she fills her time with active twitter and instagram accounts. She produces both shoes and jewellery on her website Emerald Duv and next year we can look forward to the release of her first book. Titled “Balancing In Heels” the book instructs people how to juggle a career and motherhood. No doubt it will be riveting.

Sadly on December 10th 2015 her older brother, Michael Cavallari was found dead in Utah. Michael, who had a history of mental health issues and run ins with the law, had gone missing in November. Our hearts and minds must go out to the family during this trying time.

2017 looks to be the same as 2016 for Kristin, with few projects on the horizon.

The post What Happened To Kristin Cavallari – 2018 Update appeared first on Gazette Review.

Is it real? Is it an act? International villain Spencer Pratt kept the world guessing for years. Rising to prominence in 2006 in MTV’s “The Hills” where Spencer stirred the pot so hard he broke the spoon. The world loved to hate him, but being the bad guy too long left us just hating him. After too many years of pushing his luck with audiences is he still relevant or is he over the hill?

Spencer Pratt’s Early Life

Spencer William Pratt was born on August 14th 1983 in Los Angeles, California. Raised in L.A. by his parents, William Pratt and Jane Gillespie, Spencer had a fascination with celebrity culture. He always claimed he was going to be famous, though for what he could never say. Lucky for him he became pals with Brandon and Brody Jenner in the age of reality television.

In 2005, with the help of the brothers, he conceived and produced “The Princes of Malibu”. This short lived train wreck depicted the day to day lives of the three boys as they bothered record producer David Foster and were pampered by his wife Linda. The show was cancelled after six episodes. The main reason for this being the divorce of Linda from David. He soon bounced back and in 2007 joined the cast of the popular reality show “The Hills”.

Spencer started dating Heidi Montag in early 2007, which was especially lucky as she was currently co-starring in MTV’s “The Hills”. His entrance to the show shook up the established dynamic and created a rift between real life friends Heidi and Lauren Conrad. He established himself as an antagonist, shameless and confrontational, he was just the shot in the arm the show needed to boost its ratings through the stratosphere.

How much of this was the real him and how much was acting is up for debate. The farcical plotlines of the later series notwithstanding, early on it really seemed to be a very loose unscripted show. Showcasing a knack for shaking things up he was given more and more prominence. According to the actors the later seasons were much more scripted and Spencer appeared to be more and more of a villain.

Spencer wed his on-screen girlfriend Heidi in 2008 in Mexico. The producers of “The Hills” were reportedly furious with this and staged a new wedding to be shot for the show. He would go on to produce an album for Heidi. The record bombed and cost the young star over two million dollars. The growing public hate was seen as bankable by the young couple and they soon began making appearances everywhere they could, milking the fame for all it was worth.

Life After the Hills

Innumerable magazine covers, countless paparazzi photos and leaked lies kept them in the limelight for the years following “The Hills”. They appeared in the second season of NBC’s “I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here” but left after the second episode when Heidi went down with a gastric ulcer. They claimed that the removal of the labels from their hair products, done by the other contestants in the previous episode, cost them a sponsorship deal with QVC. 2009 also saw the release of their book, “How to Be Famous”.

Most notoriously Spencer and Heidi filed for divorce in July 2010, citing irreconcilable differences. It turned out to be a ploy to boost Heidi’s flagging career and they renewed their vows that November. Adding to the already long list of clubs and bars that Spencer is already banned from in Los Angeles, Spencer was forced to return home and banned from ever entering Costa Rica again after attempting to board a plane carrying hunting weapons.

What is Spencer Pratt Doing Now in 2018?

In a surprising turn of events, Spencer and Heidi’s appearance on the UK version of “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2014 was met with wide spread approval from the British public. With the horrible fascination of a car crash the UK’s eyes were transfixed on the couple as they performed more and more heinous acts on British T.V. Having a notable feud with television presenter Rylan Clark and refusing to be separated for a week so that Singer Claire Richards could receive a letter from her children. They were loved and hated. Reviled and applauded because in spite of anything else, they made good T.V.

This year Pratt appeared, along with Heidi, WE tv’s Marriage Boot Camp where they worked out their differences regarding children and befriended Tyson Apostol. He collaborated with Apostol on a podcast called “The Spyson Hour”. Spencer and Heidi are currently in talks with WE tv about a new show were they coach up and coming reality stars on how to grab headlines and stay in the limelight, much like their book. Expect more reality shows, more false break ups, more fights with other celebrities and a slow decline into obscurity.

Spencer and Heidi will be returning to the Big Brother house in the UK this year. Not too much of a surprise, seen as the flagging program is hurting for ratings, and the pair have proven popular with UK audiences. His sister, Made In Chelsea star Stephanie Pratt, has urged her brother to stir it up with gusto, citing a fairly placid performance in the house. He is being paid to be a villain, and regardless of what you think of the guy, he’s really good at being an insufferable ass.

The post What Happened To Spencer Pratt – 2018 Update & What He’s Doing Now appeared first on Gazette Review.

Casey Reinhardt earned her celebrity as the “new girl” on the second season of of MTV’s Laguna Beach. From there, she earned a name producing cosmetics and cupcakes, going on to win an episode of Food Network’s 2011 Cupcake Wars. Recently, she got engaged. What else has Reinhardt been doing since Laguna Beach?

Casey Reinhardt on Laguna Beach

Reinhardt grew up in Laguna Beach, California. In 2002, when she was 16, Casey Reinhardt founded the C.A.S.E.Y. Foundation, short for Children’s Alliance for the Success and Education of Youth in Need. Still in operation, the Foundation promotes the importance of education and its positive lifetime effects. Reinhardt, through the C.A.S.E.Y. Foundation, speaks to children about the importance of extracurricular activities and academic achievement.

When she was 17, Casey Reinhardt participated in numerous pageants, winning titles in several. She was named Miss Congeniality and Miss Laguna Beach at the 2003 Miss Orange County Teen USA, and at Hawaiian Tropic Teen Miss 2003, she won Front Cover Girl, Personality Plus, Most Beautiful Hair, Most Beautiful Eyes, Best Smile, and several others.

With the small notoriety from those wins, she was cast for the reality TV show Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. For the first two seasons, the series focused on Lauren Conrad and her senior year at Laguna Beach High School. Reinhardt entered the show in the second season. Originally, both Casey and her brother Doug were approached by MTV producers. Doug (who later dated Paris Hilton) declined to begin a career with the Los Angeles Angels baseball team. Casey was interested in the show, so transferred to Laguna Beach High School in 2005.

While on the show, Casey Reinhardt filled the role of “new girl;” perfectly manicured, charismatic, and portrayed as the antagonist to Lauren Conrad’s main role. The season was criticized for its heavily scripted tone, which was in conflict with its billing as a reality show. Further, the students participating were heavily criticized for their portrayal of drugs and especially sexuality.

The Hills & Cupcake Wars

After Reinhardt and the rest of the cast left Laguna Beach upon graduating, Lauren Conrad went on to star in the spinoff, The Hills. Reinhardt made several appearances on the show, but spent most of her time studying Pscyhology and Pre-Law at Pepperdine University, in Malibu California.

Shortly after The Hills ended in 2010, Casey was in the film Lure. Lure is a horror movie which mashes up the plot of Fight Club and “The Most Dangerous Game,” all being set in Beverly Hills.
