Just wanting to say I’ve been a fan since about 78 and His voice has given me more fantastic memories than I can even count. My teenage years I all to Journey and Steve Perry. Our hearts are still with you Steve. I hope you will continue with your music and maybe one day you will release more music for all the world to hear. We Love You Steve. Too bad part of the article is wrong. Perry met Schon and wrote “Patiently” together. Thats how Perry joined Journery. Steve mentioned this at the MHOF awards. He never shadowed the band and filled in after a sound check.

In reply to Donna Bultema. He doesn't do computers and social stuff like facebook. There are groups online that are fans of his, though. Look on facebook and you will find several. You can also try fanasylum/steveperry for the site that posts his birthday comments for him. :)

I was looking up on utube some journey songs to listen to while cleaning my house. I found a couple Pics I've never seen before. 13 yr old daughter comes in seen steve Perry in his yngr yrs and fell in love with him. Needless to say his picture is her home screen now ...
