An actress and singer, Noah Cyrus made her music debut with her 2016 hit single, Make Me (Cry). The younger sister of Miley Cyrus, it has been announced that she will be releasing her debut album, NC-17, later this year.
In addition to music, she has also been acting since the age of two. In 2002, she made her television debut as Gracie Herbert in the medical drama, Doc. From there, she played various roles in her sister’s show, Hannah Montana.
How Noah Cyrus Became Famous
As a singer, she gained attention following the release of her debut single, Make Me (Cry) in 2016. A collaboration with Labrinth, it did extremely well in the U.S., having peaked at number 47 on the Billboard 200. Not long afterward, the track also went platinum with over a million sales across the country.
Since then, she has released a few additional records including Stay Together, I’m Stuck, My Way, and Again, though none of them rivaled the success of her debut effort.
According to reports, she will be dropping her debut album sometime in 2018.
For her work, she has received several accolades including two Radio Disney Music Award nominations, a Billboard Music Award nomination, and an MTV Video Music Award nomination.

Like her sister, Noah has also acted on several occasions. In 2002, she made her official acting debut as Gracie Herbert in the medical drama, Doc. From there, she played various roles in the Disney sitcom, Hannah Montana. Some of her other credits include the shows The Emperor’s New School, The Joey & Elise Show, Take 2, and The Hugo & Rita Show.
On the big screen, she has also appeared in a few titles. For instance, she had lent her voice to the main character in the Japanese animated film, Ponyo, which came out in 2008.
