Heidi Klum is a well-known German business woman, television host and former supermodel. Have debuted in the modelling industry at the age of 18, the blonde beauty has since gone onto become one of the world’s most well-known models. Having worked as a model for a few years, Klum eventually reached the status of  supermodel after grabbing the 1998 Swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated. In 1999, Klum was also the first German model to have achieved the feat of having worked with the women lingerie company, Victoria’s Secret. As a fashion model, she has also been ranked second on Forbe‘s list of “World’s Top Earning Models”. Her total earnings for 2011 was estimated to be approximately $20 million dollars in May 2011.
In addition to being a successful model, Klum is also an accomplished television host. Since 2006, she has been the host and judge of the German reality series, Germany’s Next Topmodel; the multitalented Klum also acts as the executive producer of the show. Besides her continuous role on the German series, she is also host of the popular American reality series, Project Runwayーin which contestants compete against each other to create the best fashionable clothing. For her role on the show, Klum has received an Emmy nomination and then won an Emmy.
Klum has received numerous offers from big name companies including H&M, Dannon, Volkswagen as well as Mcdonald’s. The blonde has also ventured into the acting industry with appearances on various television series including, How I Met Your Mother, Sex and the City, Desperate Housewives and Parks and Recreation.

Heidi Klum’s Early Modelling Career
In order to pursue a career in the modelling industry, Klum eventually relocated from her native country of Germany to New York. Shortly after her move, the blonde landed a successful gig with the women lingerie company, Victoria’s Secretーan opportunity that would ultimately make her name well known in the modelling world. During that time, Klum also made herself widely known by appearing on the cover of the 1998 Swimsuit Issue of Sports Illustrated. Throughout the years as a “Victoria’s Secret Angel” (a model for the company), the blonde also participated in, and acted as the host of several Victoria’s Secret Fashion Shows. Her time with the company eventually came to an end in October 2010, when it was reported that the model has part ways with Victoria’s secret.

In addition to being a successful model, the blonde has also made various appearances on the small screen. One of her earlier more well known works include Spin Cityーan American sitcom from the late 1990s which focused around a fictional local government. Since then, she has gone onto star in several television series including Sex in the City. Besides her roles on TV, Klum has also made the jump to the big screen, with roles in movies such as the hairdressing comedy film, Blow Dry in 2001 and Disney’s Ella Enchanted in 2004 alongside fellow actress Anne Hathaway.
Heidi Klum’s Eventual Career as a Television Host
Klum eventually found herself working on an American reality series titled, Project Runaway in December 2004; she would act as the show’s judge, host and executive prodder. First debuting on television on December 1, 2004, the competition series featured different aspiring fashion designers each season who had to compete against one another in creating the perfect pieces of clothing; winners would win the opportunity to start their own fashion line as well as to have their works featured during New York Fashion Week.
For her role as host on Project Runaway, Klum has garnered numerous Emmy Award nominationsーone for each of the show’s initial four seasons. She later won the Primetime Emmy award in 2013.
Besides being the host of the American fashion competitions series, Klum was also a host, judge, and co-producer of the German reality series, Germany’s Next Topmodel. So far, the blonde has reprised her role as judge on the show for every season of the show. The latest season premiered in early February of this year.

As a woman who has experienced the fashion challenges that comes with pregnancy, the blond founded two different lines of maternity wear in January 2010. Created with style, comfort and practicality in mind, the clothing has since been bought by numerous mother-to-be’s across the country.
Later that same year in October 2010, Klum partnered with the American footwear company, New Balance, in the launch of a new women’s activewear line on Amazon. She has also since launched a lingerie line called “Heidi Klum Intimates” in Melbourne, Australia in January 2015.
Heidi Klum’s Personal Relationships
Despite their large family, Klum and Seal announced that the two will be parting ways on January 22, 2012 after close to seven years together. The blonde filed for divorce on April 6, 2012; it was finalized a few years later on October 14, 2015. Following the ordeal, Klum also requested for her name to be changed back to that of her birth name, Heidi Klum.
Presently as of 2014, Klum has been in a dating relationship with independent curator, Vito Schnabel.
What’s Heidi Klum Doing Now in 2018- Recent Updates
On May 31, 2016, the former model reprised her role as guest judge on the eleventh season of the American competition series, America’s Got Talent. Not a stranger to the show, Klum has been a part of the judging panel since the eighth season of the show. When asked about her relationship with show creator, Simon Cowell, the blonde expressed that “He’s a lot of fun” and that she thought he was “a lot harsher to be honest”. Will the blonde return for the twelfth season of America’s Got Talent? Only time will tell! But we’re probably going to vote, yes.
Besides having had appeared on television this year, the former Victoria’s Secret model has also recently made headlines stating that she will not be marrying again anytime soon. When asked whether or not she will be tying the knot again soon with current boyfriend, Vito Schanbel, Klum answered that she’d be reluctant to go into marriage again as “[she] has done it twice before and it never worked out for her”, stating that she would be more content staying with how things are now.
Klum also seems to have been rather busy on the business sides of things this yearーseeing as how she is currently planning the launch of a new swimwear line. Together with Bendon Lingerie, the blonde will be releasing a line of one-pieces and bikini sets later this year. Unlike her previous intimates line, the “Heidi Klum Swim Collection” as it is called, will cater towards a broader audience and include cover-up garments as well as togs. While the swimwear collection has not been released quite yet, the former model was recently seen in a variety of promotional images showing off her taut body in an array of swimsuits, including a beautiful yet simple white one-piece.
This July, the blonde beauty also made a recent appearance at the Project Runaway Season 15 Cake-Cutting Celebration event, in celebration of 15 years of the show. The 43 year old model, who looked stunning in an off the shoulder black dress, was joined by fellow judges Zac Posen, Nina Garcia and Tim Gunn in New York. Klum has since posted a handful of behind the scene photos on her personal Instagramーincluding a short video clip of herself dancing with Judge Posen. It’s still not too late to sneak a look of these goodies on the star’s social media account!
But on top of all of that, Klum has been enjoying her family time as a mom of four. Even with a hectic work schedule, the blonde never seems to neglect spending quality time with her children. Just the other day, the family was spotted walking out of their Manhattan apartmentーpossibly for a fun shopping trip!
