Ryan John Seacrest was born in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 24, 1974. His passion for entertainment sparked after performing in a school musical. He would record broadcasts on cassette tapes and give it to his parents so they can listen to it while driving. His mother Constance Marie described Seacrest as a child who played with microphones instead of action figures.
Seacrest tasted his first exposure to the public during a school musical in fourth grade. He performed as King Winter, and this experience further pushed his interest towards entertainment. Seacrest had more opportunities in practicing his craft during high school where he was tasked to read announcements every morning on the intercom.
