For those worried about oversensitivity, part of the software suite that comes with the mouse includes an option to lower DPI as needed to unsure as seamless an experience between player and game as possible.

The Redragon M601 has a pair of buttons located next to the thumb placement which can be programmed as alternatives for keyboard keys of actions. These tend to be very responsive, and easy to program. This makes it easy in FPS games to pull a quick reload before shots without a second thought, or in RTS games, having a quick action without a second thought. Likewise, there is a button for the aforementioned DPI which can be programmed to fine tune your gaming experience. The overall ergonomics of the Redragon is surprisingly comfortable and smooth, despite having a somewhat sharp look. All in all, the construction and consideration put into this mouse for the player stands out as exceptional, especially when compared to “normal” mice which cost only a few dollars less.

While it does not have all the perks that come with mice that are three times its price, within the budget market it does stand out as a fantastic value. Considering most DLC is now above the cost of this mouse, it’s hard not to rationalize out this purchase as a fine idea, especially considering that this can also be used outside of gaming and still be pretty handy. While I would not recommend this mouse for someone with an upper level MSi or Alienware or custom build with Geforce Titan cards and a 4k screen, it serves its purpose well for just about everyone else on the market.
